If you are not holdign it into the phone jack constantly then there is static and you cannot hear the other person and they cannot hear you. You both hear this weird noise. I tried it on multiple different phones to make sure it was not my phone. It was a total waste of money and completely UNUSABLE! Back to Panasonic"s head piece!

I've owned a number of these headsets over the years, different styles and brands. This is far and away the worst of the lot. No volume control, no mute feature, and the connection is so bad that every conversation is full of static, and if I move just right, the connection ends altogether, so that it's generally easier to just unplug it and hold the phone normally. Since hearing challenges and the arthritis in my hands are the main reasons I use one of these, this one is completely useless.

This may work well in some applications, but did not work for me and was not compatible with my telephone. It is not as advertised. Do not purchase this junk!

The head band is small and the unit does not stay in place.
