havit RGB Wired Gaming Headset PC USB 3.5mm XBOX / PS4 Headsets with 50MM Driver, Surround Sound & HD Microphone, XBOX One Gaming Overear Headphones for Computer Laptop, Black (H2011d)

This is my first headset and I'm pleased with the purchase but there are a few things that are disappointing that I will look out for on my next purchase. Just a few points I want to make so you can make the right choice too.1. Headset Lights. Plugging in the USB lights for the headset creates static feedback on some devices. On the end of the cable you've got the headphone jack and the USB to make the headset light up. Its very pretty but its very short so if you're plugged into a controller it can be awkward to plug in the USB to get them to light up. For PC the lights work fine for me but with the PS4 or Xbox One plugging in the lights creates a static feedback in your ears that can be annoying and also be heard over the mic if you're talking to someone so I don’t have them on.2. Microphone. First off I’m kinda miffed that it doesn’t have a mute switch like most headsets. I didn’t realise this when purchasing it and will definitely look out for that next time. For the price this is a really decent microphone but there are a few issues with certain devices. Quality is great with my PS4. You can test the volume of your voice directly through your PS4 and adjust as needed. I’m a very quiet person so I turn it right up and it doesn’t pick up background noises like a fan or dog barking outside which is great. For PC I had to make a few adjustments to the noise gate because it was picking up the fans from the PC. Xbox One doesn’t allow you to test the volume of your voice directly but you can adjust the bar and have a friend tell you if they can hear you or not. I had to turn it right down for this because it was constantly crackling or picking up background noises. Its at a very low setting and there’s still a crackle especially when the game is quiet which can be annoying for other people to listen to in their headsets.3. Sound. The sound quality of this headset is amazing across all devices I’ve tested it on. For consoles make sure you change your stereo settings otherwise you hear surround sound in both ears and it can be hard to pinpoint footsteps or directions of shooting in game. I didn’t have to do this for earphones but for some reason it changed for this headset. I can’t have the lights on when I’m playing on console because it creates a static noise in both ears and its awkward to plug the headphone jack and the USB in at the same time because the ends are so short.Last point I want to make is that the headphone cable is very strong but super long. When gaming on console I have the jack plugged into my controller so I have spirals of wire sitting in my lap along with my controller. It can be an annoying tangle of wires sometimes and make you regret going wired.All in all I’m very pleased with this headset for my first one. I’ve always preferred in the ear earphones because they’re more comfortable wearing glasses or in the summer, but this headset sits nicely over my ears and doesn’t cause discomfort against the frames of my glasses. They’re easy to adjust for your head size and they don’t slip or cause too much heat in the hot weather.

Its really good and has amazing noise cancellation, I could blast music at full volume and you wouldn't even notice it unless you tried to listen for it. The wire for the rgb isn't really split wide enough for using a laptop so you wont be able to use the rbg and headphones at the same time. The sound quality is ok, when its load the base quality isn't great but its not bad, especially for the price. If your on a budget for gaming equipment this are definitely what you need, the mic works great for discord, zoom, obs ect. They do get uncomfortable after a couple hours but its not that bad to be honest and my ears don't get hot at all.I did watch a couple youtube reviews and the mic quality on them were better than what I got so keep in mind it wont be as good as some reviews on youtube.The rgb isn't too bright or anything and genuinely looks quite nice.So far I've had them for a week and have had no problems but if anything bad happens I will update*update*ive had it for 8 days and the mic quality suddenly got really bad, echoey and muffled for no reason.

I play on ps4There a good set of headphones long wire but no mute button or would have been a 5* but as for the sound there great could be deeper ear cups as after a few hours of gaming FPS they start to ache but again if your a casual gamer couple hours a day or so then there good for the priceNoise cancellation well where to start of you have kids say from the age of 3-10 then don't expect much or over the nagging of a women lol but there OK if no one is in the house then yes hardly any sound from outsideSound quality there pretty good for the price you can hear footsteps and directions and they can be loud depending on how u like the leve of volume on your headset but they do the jobAll in all I would rate or a 4/5 and keep them as a spare set I've have a few different pairs of headphones and some were uncomfortable and pointless then those which are half decent and then ones that I would use 24/7 these are the type of half decent that u can use if needed or not long term

Bought these for gaming on playstation.Light weight and comfortable to wear.The sound is fine, nothing amazing but one for what I need them for.Friends tell me my voice is clear hen we are in party chat playing games together.My only criticism would be that half the reason I bought them was the rainbow lights that light up. However the USB cable that you need to plug in is on a short lead right next to the one used to plug in to my controller. I tried using a USB extension lead to connect it to a power source and then my friends old me it gave horrible feedback that I couldn't hear. So now I'm just using them not lit up, which I guess doesn't matter, but it seems a shame that you pay for a feature that you can't use. Maybe I they were plugged into a pc/laptop they would be ok.For the price they are fine for what I'm using them for. I your kids need gaming headphones at an ok price these are good. However I think i will upgrade mine when I find something better at a decent price.
