WIll the pump automatically shut off if the well runs out of water?

It does not have auto shut off, no float switch or flow sensor. If the water runs out, it will get hot and shut itself off, but that would not be a recommended condition. If you are pumping until dry, look to add a flow sensing or float switch.

Will it build pressure, can you use with a pressure switch

It does build pressure, I don't know how much though.

How many amps does this draw? I have a 12v 10ah battery will it work?

Can't say how many amps it draws but I use a 12V 25A 300W transformer, no issues. 120V input.
