Dakota Alert 1000 Wireless Doorbell Ring Detector, White (DCPB-1000)

Only concern is volume is hard to adjust; there's a small range where the volume can be adjusted so it was hard to get the volume at the right level. I bought it for the longer range and it is good. I haven't fully tested how far it will go, but it is working fine from a first floor room on far back corner of the house to a room on front opposite corner of the house. At least 200 ft through lots of walls.

Bought this to add an additional button onto my doorbell system. I put it inside my mailbox door so whenever my mailman has a package to leave for me she rings the bell and sets the box next to my mailbox. No more worrying about packages sitting outside all day. It's made her job easier too since no more climbing stairs to ring the bell or wonder if where she is leaving the box is a good spot or not.The button was extremely easy to program using the included instructions. I bought a couple of these and I thought one of the was not working but after some fiddling with the battery contacts it works perfectly now. I would recommend this and the doorbell alarm they are made for to anyone wanting a wireless doorbell system that works over long distances. I have 1 at my mailbox, 1 at my downstairs door and another one at the top of the stairs going to the 2nd story, they all work perfectly and each is programmed with a unique chime so I know which door the person it at.

This thing only worked the day I set it up. It has not worked since. I am quite disappointed. I had really hoped this would solve an ongoing issue in my home.

The chime did not work with the separate unit purchased as advertised.

It works, but the sound is not very pleasing to my ear. The only one of those offered that I can tolerate is the traditional ding-dong. It does work at the moment which is a plus, and i can only hope it will last a while.

Our condo is large enough that a recently purchased call button for disabled people would not work. This remote doorbell works very reliably. I wish it was small and light enough to wear around the neck, but right now it serves the purpose very well.

Needed a new door bell because my bell died. Looked at all the reviews and decided to give this bell a try. Glad I did. It is very good. It is loud enough to hear very well. For some reason They did not send any screws with it. Luckily I kept the old nails from the old bell. I ordered the extra push button the bell and I set it up to ring differently. Now I know if someone is ringing the front bell, and if they are ringing the back bell. Different melodies can be programed for the bells. Very good product. It has been working for a couple of months without any problems. It also can be set to blink a light for persons who have a hearing problem. Can be put in many different places as well as on a wall. It really has a good loud sound. You can adjust the sound and pick the different melodies for the doors, it takes a little patience but it is worth it. Amazon delivered it promptly, and it was packaged well.
