Great quality
Love these, I got them to replace the previous ones I had (I broke them) which were the same model.Great sound quality for gaming (PS5), the volume control on the left side is handy and the mid switches off when the mic is raised.

Noise cancelling, good sound and microphone
Great headphones, noise cancelling and according to my son, very comfortable. The sound and noise cancelling is good, I have tried them too.The only problem is, my son assumes he is in his own world and his noises can be very loud as he is immersed in his game.

Solid Performance at a Great Price
After searching everywhere for an all-utility gaming headset across several platforms, I gave the Turtle Beach Recon 70N a go. Here's my in-depth review after trying it out really bad on my Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PC gaming. The Turtle Beach Recon 70N arrived well packaged to prevent any damage during transit. It features a sleek, modern design; the distinctive Turtle Beach branding adorns this headset. Light in weight but sturdy in build, it never seemed to be inconvenient for long sessions of gaming. This model has a black colour scheme with red trims, and it will also suit any gaming setup. The ear pads are covered in synthetic leather, which enables comfortable seating to the ears and is apt for extended periods without pressing on the ears. Equipped with an adjustable headband, it ensures a good fit for various head sizes. Audio Quality The audio performance on the Turtle Beach Recon 70N is not that bad, especially considering the price range. Its 40mm speakers provide clear and balanced sound, which will take your gaming much further with crisp highs and rich lows. Either action games or role-playing games with long quests, the quality of the sound remains good. The headset does an average job in terms of noise isolation, helping you remain focused on the game. Microphone The flip-up mic is quite convenient and provides clear voice communication options. It picks up my voice loud and clear while tamping down all the background noise, making voice chatting with your team easy as pie. When you're not using it, flip it up to mute, and it's out of the way. Compatibility and Setup One salient selling point of the Recon 70N is that it is highly versatile. It works with the Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. With a 3.5mm jack, changing between devices was a breeze without any hassle. Setup was also simple: plug it in and you're good to go.ProsProduce clear and balanced audio with 40 mm speakers.Comfortable ear pads and lightweight for long periods of use.Flip-up mic for easy mute and real-clear voice communication.Wide compatibility with a number of gaming platforms.Affordable and reasonable price.NegativesSynthetic leather ear cushions may make you sweat in longer performances. It does not offer advanced audio customisation settings that can be found in higher-end models. Although the construction is plastic, the build is quite solid, but it might not seem to be on par with some costlier headsets.Talking about value for other headsets within its price range, the Turtle Beach Recon 70N offers this in quite substantial lows. Not all the premium buttes go with some of the costlier headsets; it, however, makes up for that through top performance and versatility across multiple platforms.Personally, I haven't had an issue that required customer service. However, the known solidarity of Turtle Beach for reliable support and some solid warranty really puts one's mind at rest.Tips for Future BuyersFirst is the comfort. For you to maximise the output of this headset, ensure you manipulate the fitting for some maximum comfort. Give yourself some breaks during quite long gaming so that one is not feeling some discomfort on the ear cushions. For the enhancement of audio performance, consider tweaking the in-game sound setting.Overall, I am very pleased with the Turtle Beach Recon 70N Gaming Headset. It gives full performance, comfort, and, above all, budget versatility. While it doesn't throw in all the bells and whistles of more expensive models, it's a great choice for gamers who are quite passionate about getting a reliable, yet cost-friendly, headset.Overall Rating: 4.5/Recommendation: This would therefore be highly recommended to gamers who want a versatile, pocket-friendly headset that can work with multiple platforms.

Turtle beach, enough said.
Bought 2 pairs of these 1 for each of our sons. No complaints, we've had turtle beach previously and wouldn't think of using any other brand.Sound quality is unmatched for the price margin, ease of use, ear muffs are comfortable and don't crush you ears, mic can be muted just by flicking it up.Very affordable, play like the pros.

Great budget headset (for the short term though)
Brought around March 2021, first year everything was pretty decent, just as good as expensive Razor headset's with the mic and audio quility being good. Started to notice the mic and audio quility started getting worse after a years use and now friends can barely hear me and audio is starting to get worse over time. If you're looking for a pair of budget headset's to last you till you can get a better one and need good quility in both mic and audio then this will do you perfectly fine, but be warned, the headset is definitely not a long lasting pair. Most headsets I've got in the £50-150 price range normally last me around 3-5 years, these only lasted about a year, but for the price, it's a grab if you're low on money but are desperate to get a quility headset in the meantime. And as prices are still going up on everything, then get these while you still can as even technology and equipment for gaming is starting to go up in the last year (not just living, bills etc). So grab a pair while you can or if you can wait then I recommend getting some Astros or Razor headsets. Probably contradict myself here, but the durability is excellent, just the actual audio and mic quility over a short period goes down extremely fast once you start to notice it. Anyway, overall, decent pair of budget headset's here.

Using with the PS5
I did a quick test with this headset and I think they are a worthy purchase. Love that the microphone can be flipped back. Which helps to keep it out of your eyeline. Also, compatible with other systems.
