Genuine Unistrut P1834-EG Channel Trolley Track Intermediate Support Hanger Bracket for All 1-5/8" Strut Channel

This is similar to the Superstrut components you can find at Home Depot, except they're much cheaper at HD. I found those only after I purchased the Unistrut parts. These are super heavy duty and work really well to hang a 100lb heavy bag. I bought a trolley and spring and it works perfectly. Hand clamps hold the trolley in place then I remove the clamps to roll the bag out of the way, the replace the clamps.

Had to "bite the bullet" on the price, but well worth the money. Highly recommend this product to ease installation of rail.

I wanted to have a punching bag in my garage but it would get in the way of my car. I used these to hold up the strut and have the punching bag slide in place when I’m using it and to slide toward the wall when I park my car. I bought seven brackets but used six because one of them wasn’t aligned correctly on the ceiling due to user error. It made no difference as the whole thing works perfectly. I initially hung a 70 pound bag but upgraded to 100 pounds for more resistance and it still holds the extra weight.

Easy to install. I spread these open slightly to make it easier to slide the uni-strut into them overhead. The bolts through the sides then clamp the channel securely after it is in position.These hangers are a little pricy for what they are but they serve the purpose for my application well. To be clear - these are not attached to the ceiling - they are attached with 24" of all-thread extending up through a corresponding length of thin uni-strut channel laid across the floor joists in the attic.

Fit well with rail, used in a fail system for an electric hoist.
