Good Replacement Cable for K-50
I purchased this cable for my RIDGID K-50 drain machine and it has performed well on most residential drain cleaning jobs. The cable is durable and fits properly, but it doesn't feel quite as heavy-duty or smooth-running as the original RIDGID cable. That said, for the price, it's a solid alternative and gets the job done reliably. Overall, a good value for plumbers looking for a replacement cable.

I've been using the Steel Dragon 5/8" cable for well over 4 years now without fail! I've cleared several hundred drains both commercial and residential. I started with their small machine and eventually graduated to a Ridgid K90SP. I did manage to snap one cable after it became kinked, thank goodness it wasn't in the drain at the time. So yes they can and will get bent and break, so caveat emptor with any sectional cables. The bits work great too!
