WEN 10711 Industrial-Strength Adjustable Magnetic Base for Dial Indicators

Works as described. Magnet is very strong.

I’ve been wanting one of these for years so I finally bought one. I got my money’s worth for sure. This thing is very well built with metal components where it mattered. The on/off magnet switch worked reliably and the magnet was very strong. The steel arms do not flex and the joints are also without to slightest wiggle. I already had a dial gauge from my motorcycling days, a genuine Suzuki top dead center dial indicator. At first I wasn’t sure if my gauge would compatible but it was and truing my new jointer was a breeze using this combination. Set it on my out feed table, zero the dial and then move it to the top of each cutter. It should read zero since they’re on the same plane. The magnetic holder made it all easy.

I rarely review anything on Amazon. The second I picked the box up for this I was shocked at the weight of it. After unboxing it, I couldn't believe how nice the thing was for the money. I mounted my dial indicator on it but have not used it for a project yet, but I am quite confident it will work as intended. I am very impressed to say the least. I won't speak for folks using these daily, but for a hobbiest like myself, I would bet it will last a lifetime based on what I see

To be honest I needed a magnetic base and bought this one because I liked the black and orange stickers. They're all the same product at this price.

Funcional. Estoy satisfecho con los materiales de construcción, tiene buena fijación magnética, sin embargo, los tornillos para fijar la posición de los brazos es algo sencillo por lo que tienes que apretar mucho. En mi caso lo use para calibrar los 3 ejes de mi CNC, no fue tan como pero resultó. Para un torno podría ser mucho más práctico. También reconozco que por el precio está bastante bien pero si quieres algo más como invertir en uno con otro tipo de brazos de sujeción y mejor calidad.
