Good projector for the price.
I use this to project movies and games to my bedroom wall.I was skeptical when I found this projector while researching low-budget projectors. After a few months of usage, I can confidently say that I am very happy with my purchase.- Quality is OK (not 1080p), I would not recommend this for a living room theater system, but for use in my bedroom, it is awesome.- Brightness is no issue if you have windows shades. I use a white sheet on the wall to make sure colors show up correctly and I have light-blocking curtains on my windows to help darken the room.- I would recommend using a different speaker system as the speaker in this projector is rubbish. I am not deducting a star for this however, because I didn't need a speaker in the first place, it is just an extra feature that I don't use.I am very happy that I bought this projector. For the price, I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Don't buy
It is an average projector, nothing special. The sound is horrible though, and the remote did not work, apparently it's a common problem.

BUYER BEWARE!
DO NOT BUY! This is a knock off product! The instruction manual was clearly written by a 3rd grader or someone who does not understand the english language! The picture quality is horrific! Don't expect to be able to read any text no matter how close or far you stand from the screen. Photos are fuzzy at best.

Cheap price, great product. Would buy again
No issues whatsoever. Daughter wanted it for her birthday and we are both pleased with the product. With Netflix and other streaming apps it has saved me a bundle of being able to do movie night at home. Also, it's a great tool for teaching. It's gives parents the ability to teach the same way that some of the more advanced schools do with interactive lessons with vivid colors and cinematic sound. Kudos! When the bulb dies I am going to rebuy the updated version with the extra HDMI input and donate this to a program for higher learning.

Read the stats.
A good projector at a good price. My biggest issue is that the Native resolution (the resolution at which everything will be displayed) is only 720P and not 1080P as the title leads you to believe. The 1080P is the resolution it will support and then convert to 720P. With Everything said and done this is still a good projector just not 1080P good.

Wonderful!!!!
I bought this projector specifically for my family and friends for outdoor movie night. Like you I did hours of research and thought I had found a good buy, just before I bought my wife stumbled upon the HTP led projector. It only had 6 reviews but they were all good, we bought this one instead and I am so glad we did. For us it fit everything we were looking for, long hour bulb life, low fan sound, big size and great picture. I don't even have a screen and we are blown away by this projector. I have it right now on the side of our house at a 12 ft wide screen, and it looks great, I don't know about indoor hd projectors but this thing is so nice. 40,000 hour bulb life!!! I ordered a 92" dia screen and Im afraid were going to have to send it back and get at least a 12 ft wide one. If outdoor movie night is what your after stop looking and buy this projector, i am so glad we did.

A little tricky to get going, but it will work like a charm when it's set right
My current display setup has 4 x nVidia GEFORCE 680 using quad SLI. The projector is at one end of the room, and I'm using a 7x7ft sceen. I'm using a 50ft HDMI cable to connect it from my computer. When I first set this up, it was blurry, and the resolutions were all buggy. I was also told with a cable that large I'd never get real time results.Well the key is the refresh rate. You want to keep it at 60hz. This device has a large array of resolutions, and supported refresh rates (but keep it at 60hz for best results). Sadly Microsoft messed up with the whole new Windows 8 scaling Adobe Truetype fonts, and some fonts render horribly in 1080mp due to that. However the fix to that is to just find a smaller resolution than 1920x1080 for normal reading/typing purposes. Now once I got everything in tune, I'm experiencing real time gaming, amazing quality movies all in 1920x1080. I'm extremely satisfied, it just required a little tweaking of the windows settings along with some lens adjusting. All I have to say this baby is awesome.

I donated it to them on my Birthday April 18th it works well and they are very happy with it
I bought this for a school in Jamaica, I donated it to them on my Birthday April 18th it works well and they are very happy with it. I regret buying the extra warranty it could buy a few books for the school. I'm wondering if I could get a refund for the warranty I bought, they will never use it.
