MAC does not sell their products on Amazon -- what is the source of these products? They appear to be counterfeit.

Amazon is not a MAC retailer so all products are from 3rd party sellers and since Amazon isn't able to guarantee authenticity, buyers risk receiving products that are counterfeit, expired and/or used. If this happens, Amazon isn't able to help as 3rd party sellers can set their own return/refund terms. It's just not worth the risks that come with buying unauthorized products, even when they're cheaper.

What color for a natural beige skin tone..

NC 30 , Should be fine, I am a medium beige and I use NC 35. This particular make up blends well with your natural color which is why I love it, it looks quite natural.

Which color is suitable for african skin?

That really depends on your tone of shin color , how light skinned or dark you are .

Not the MAC I Know!

This makeup doesn't appear to be the same as purchased in the store. I have worn MAC for at least 10 years and this is the first time I've purchased outside of the store. When I opened the package, I noticed a slight chemical odor which faded after a day or so. However, I've noticed the more I've used, the color has changed. It's a cloudy white film when applied and this has never happened before. I called Amazon yesterday and spoke with Cess who placed me on hold multiple times. She changed her information at least three times from giving me an option to replace (which I chose) or a refund; only to change in the end stating the time had lapse to return and I get nothing! I will never order makeup again online and I will never order from Amazon again as I am not appreciated as a customer.
