Good, affordable keyboard
I purchased this keyboard for my new build and I am very pleased with it thus far. It arrived in good packaging and the quality of the keyboard feel very nice. It feels durable and actually has a good amount of weight to it. It is also a good size, I wouldn't consider it too small or too large and I have what I would consider average sized hands. It has very good response with no delay or key input lag. As any keyboard, it is very easy to install. All you do is plug it in, Windows will recognize it and install the appropriate drives and in a matter of seconds you are typing away. The lighting effects on this keyboard are very nice as well. It comes with 3 different colors: blue, red, and pinkish purple. Additionally, there are a couple LED bars on both sides of the keyboard which gives the keyboard a neon underglow affect. It also has a dial so you change the brightness of the color or you can completely turn it off as well. It has all the standards keys you would expect from a keyboard plus media functions. One thing to note is that above the "F8" key a little blue light stays on all the time and stays blue regardless of what color you have the keyboard set to. It also comes with an adjustable wrist support and legs to increase the height of the keyboard. For the price it is hard to beat this keyboard!Pros: Good packaging, good size and weight, feels durable, lighting effects, easy install, good key responseCons: These are not really an issue for me but some other users may find it annoying. The keys feel just a little squishy, so if you are more into mechanical keyboards this one is not for you. It can only register 1-2 keys at a time so if you are playing a game where you need to press 3 or more keys simultaneously, that may give you issues. And finally, it does not come with any macro keys.MY BUILDNZXT Technologies Source 530 Full Tower Chassis Cases CA-SO530-M1MSI 990FXA-GD65V2 MotherboardAMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) ProcessorCORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU CoolerXFX Double D R9-280A-TDFD Radeon R9 280 3GB Graphics GardG.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB RAMRosewill RBR1000-M - BRONZE Series - 1000-Watt Active PFC Power SupplyCrucial MX200 CT250MX200SSD1 2.5" 250GB Solid State Drive (SSD)Western Digital BLACK SERIES WD1003FZEX 1TB 7200 RPM HDDLG Black Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Combo Drive

A extremely unsung scissor switch keyboard that is EXTREMELY well done and well built!
=Edit: Due to a catastrophic mess up on my part, my first one is unusable so I bought a second one. I notice this second one happens to be of a even higher quality! Which leads me to believe my first one was "defected". The first one had a few keys that when deliberately pressed very slowly, squeaked. The space bar on the first one was also fairly rattly. Neither of those are a problem on this second one. So if you do get one that does have those, it is probably defective and you should contact Perixx support about that. Also, in one of the "strengths" I mentioned a piece of Velcro. I can confirm that this second one also has it, so that really is universal on all of them.Strengths:* The best execution of a scissor switch in today's market! Easily the best scissor switches you can buy (right now)!* Water proof and dust resistant!* Build quality is extremely stellar across the board! The board itself won't squeak, the keycaps don't wobble visibly and rattle is so low that your room will have to be completely quiet and you'd have to be very close to even hear a hint of rattle. 10/10 on built quality!* The flip out feet are actually RUBBER TIPPED! Good lord, other keyboards sure cheap out on this detail! Not this one!* Speaking of which, there are rubber dots on the bottom so if you don't want to use the flip out feet, your desk is still safe from getting scratched! The rubber dots and flip out feet alike, both have great rubber on them so don't expect this keyboard to move around when you don't want it to!* An actually standard layout! The only difference between this keyboard and a more standard office keyboard is that the "right Windows key" and the "context menu" key, to the right of the spacebar have been replaced by a "Function Key" and a "Gear key". Besides those two key function changes, the keyboard orthodox. So many keyboard like to think they're "cutting edge" by changing a tried and true layout only for it to be a chaotic mess. Not this one!* Back lighting (THAT CAN BE TURNED OFF)* Windows lock for those gamers who get tripped up by it* Basic media function keys (For example, volume management)* The keys are EXTREMELY well stabilized! They can be hit anywhere, even the corners and they will all go down smoothly* The scissor-switches rebound very quickly and have a well executed "bump" when you bottom out! I have yet to have it miss a input on me!* The anti-ghosted keys are plentiful for most situations. It can even play rhythm games that involve 9 to even 10 keys!* Sub $50 ranged, putting this keyboard in "budget keyboard" territory. Despite that cheap price, you still get quality that even gives more expensive keyboards a run for their money!* THE KEYCAPS AREN'T FLAT THANK GOD! They also have a slight concave top to them, so unlike those flat scissor-switch keyboards, you can actually touch type on this without it driving you up the wall!Cons:* Space bar is a little rattly.* For a "rubber-dome" scissor switch keyboard, it is pretty loud! Not quite mechanical keyboard territory, but in comparison to common office membrane-rubber-dome keyboards, this keyboard will noticeable be louder!* Not stocked well! If you see it being sold for $90, please wait a few days or possibly months for Perixx to restock! This keyboard should only be $39.99! If it isn't, Perixx is probably out of stock of this particular model again!Overall, the best scissor switch keyboard on the market! If you love scissor switches and want the best of the best as far as scissor switches are concerned, without a doubt this is easily the best one in terms of it's overall quality! Hell, it is great if you just want a stellar keyboard in general without forking out a bunch of cash! Despite it being only $39.99, it's quality is high enough to keep up with even some mechanical keyboards! Easily one of the most underrated and underestimated keyboards you can buy!

THIS IS LEGIT. Human here. Loving this keyboard.
This keyboard is exactly what I wanted. Got a new desktop from CyberPowerPC and they sent me a mechanical keyboard as a gift during Black Friday. Never had mech keyboards before but OMFG it's loud and I've always enjoyed the tactile silence on laptop keyboards... so begins a month long initiative digging up Reddit posts and reading reviews on Amazon. Got this package 3 days later than expected... arrived today (Xmas eve).My main requirement was quiet keys. Can confirm, these are quiet like my laptop BUT they have a very interesting tactile feedback that I'm enjoying A LOT. No shuck of mechanical keyboards, and an enjoyable typing experience. "High scissor keys" are really impressive... no idea why they market it as that but this is amazing to type on. From another reviewer here who had a broken right ctrl key, my first action was test the stability and soundness of each key. Passed. Can also confirm that the spacebar is RIDICULOUSLY stable. For the RGB, the lights are bright but the letters on the keys do not look half-faded while illuminated. The RGB doesn't have a lot of modes but I don't quite care myself. It's marketed as waterproof too so that helps when it eventually get dirty. It's a solid brick. Plug and play. I'm actually quite surprised overall with how much I'm enjoying this keyboard. Will be great for productivity and gaming. Will update if issues occur.UPDATE Jan 19th 2018. Still awesome.

It's great, but images of layout are misleading.
I had a Cougar 200K but it broke after 8 months of casual to intense use. Apparently I'm not the only one who experienced this so I bought this keyboard with suspicions and hope. Well, the keyboard works well, it's silent, brightness doesn't distract me and it's on the heavier side which is very nice. The only things I am dissatisfied is depth of keys, groves of keys and keyboards layout. Since I live in UK, I needed a UK layout and thought that I'm getting a big enter key layout, but not. At least the keyboard is US and I have memorized UK layout so not a big deal here. Just a few buttons don't match and that's all. Layout will take getting used to. As for key depth, before I got this keyboard I was using very cheap dell keyboard and it's buttons were pretty high, this one has them a tat lower, but still, it would've been great to have them laptop low for faster clicks. It's great. Possibly the best choice I've had at the time, but if I found the one that meets my needs, I would've got that instead.

Genial calidad precio.

Fantastic keyboard
I have had this keyboard for two years now and i still cant find a new one that matches this. Its a heavy keyboard with a nice rubberish finish, the LED control is super easy to use, it has three colours (red, blue, purple) and it also has brightness control which helps alot when your eyes are feeling sensitive because the lights on this are super bright. The key layout is pretty standard and the keys give a nice clicky sound which is very satisfying.Over all i would recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for long a cheap (price) yet premium keyboard. And it still looks good after two years!
