Kumon Grade 3 Division (Kumon Math Workbooks)

These kumon books have helped a lot to my son! Practice makes excellence! Great price, self pace without having to pay the monthly fee from Kumon.

Good book with multiplication revision and division

I was looking for a structured math course to do at home with my 3rd grader, and this indeed fulfills the need. Only critic could be these book has a monotonous pattern, but practice makes it perfect!!

This was a support item I bought when I was homeschooling our daughter in 3rd grade. Our primary math curriculum was Singapore math, which I highly recommend and can't say enough good things about (and yes, they do have a common core version of that), but she was struggling more with division and needed more practice then the workbooks we had for that provided, and I didn't have a bunch of time to scour the internet for additional worksheets. I found this to be perfect for that (though she, admittedly, was less then thrilled about the extra practice). It had a variety of different worksheets, with division from memory based on math facts, to the beginnings of long division, to division with a remainder. It worked well for the support we needed, and it was worth buying it to save a bit of my precious time.

It’s helpful for kids

Every summer I buy workbooks for my two boys. This year I chose Kumon, I purchase the whole collection of Grade 4 for my son going into 4th grade and the whole collection of Grade 3 (thinking Grade 2 would be too easy) for my son going into 2nd grade. Later on I found that my younger son had difficulties in some areas in Grade 3 so I bought Grade 2. This has been a great guidance for my kids and I. The books helped my kids learn step by step and I really do see improvements. Its great for me, I simply use the answer sheet to correct and it helps me find out what their weaknesses are. Overall I really like Kumon workbooks compare to previous companies that I have purchased because I do see improvements. Next year I will purchase Kumon again.

I purchased this book from my son to review over the summer. It has a good variety and a lot of repetition to help. Keep his brain sharp. Highly recommend!
