Timberland Kids' Adventure Seeker Two-Strap Sandals

These are great sandals. My boys love them. This is one son's second pair (had this same style a couple summers ago), so I knew what I was getting when I ordered them: comfortable, good looking, and well made. I'm a bit unsure how anyone can say these run small, though. To me, they run somewhat large. For instance, I ordered a size 3 (Little Kid) for one son who has been wearing a pair of size 3 Saucony sneakers for a few months now (his feet are presumably the same or bigger), and these sandals are a lot bigger...he has at least 1/2" to 3/4" inch room in length on these sandals. I was sure they were too big, but he insists they aren't so big he'll trip, so we're keeping them. Same thing for my second son...he's wearing a 1.5 extra-wide in Saucony sneakers, so I ordered a size 2 (Little Kid) in these. Length is also 1/2" to 3/4" longer than expected. Since both boys insist they fit fine, this works for me, since I know these sandals will last throughout two summers!!! Even though these sandals don't come in wide widths, the footbed is wide enough to accommodate my one son's wide feet, and the velcro straps are long enough and very adjustable, so they work well. Maybe Saucony sneakers run small...???

My daughter loves these sandals. Just like most kids, she needs a new pair of sandals every summer. My daughter has a very narrow foot so it is hard for me to find sandals and shoes that fit her appropriately. I always need a shoe that adjusts around the toes and the top of the foot in order to get a correct fit on her. This Scandal does just that. It has the extra strap near the toes to tighten and the strap near the ankle. She has complained in the past about shoes being uncomfortable but not this one. It is a very practical sandal and very comfortable to wear. She has worn it to school the beach the playground to church with dresses and they have worked out great for All Occasions. Other shoes have caused her to get to blisters but not these. I am contemplating getting a pair for her little sister who is 3. She loves the color pink so I think she would love these too. They are made very well and should last the entire summer if not longer. There is nothing worse then buying a cheap shoe and having to go buy a second pair because the shoe was not made well. That's the great thing about these, I will not have to replace them sometime this summer. In fact I think they will last long enough that I can pass them down to my youngest when she gets that size. They are a great sandal for the price. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The velcro also seems to be very strong and it also last nicely.

We have a large family and purchased 6 pairs of these, ranging in size from Toddler 7 to Big Kid 6. Unlike other reviewers, we found every pair to fit precisely true to size. I love that they are sturdy like a tennis shoe for active play but cute enough to wear under casual dresses to church. My children have all worn these every single day, all summer long. They've held up beautifully. We packed up the socks and put them away for the summer. I am so amazed by the great value and quality I got for the price of this shoe. We've owned many other more expensive luxury children's shoe brands and never had such a sturdy sandal. They did give two of my children blisters the first time they were worn. In the future, I will put bandaids on the backs of heels at first to prevent this. We almost gave up on them, and I'm so glad we did not. They "broke in" very quickly, and all are very comfortable now. I plan to buy 7 new pairs again next summer.

I bought the Crocband II sandal and the "Timberland Adventure Seeker 2-Strap" both in toddler size 9. The crocs are a bit wider and longer, which is perfect for my 2 yr old's feet. He has very fat feet in the area where the ankle meets the foot, so a lot of shoes are just too small for his thick foot. Crocs have always been the best fit, and these Croc sandals didn't disappoint! The Timberland sandals were also a good fit, but a little harder to get on and a little more snug. I will be sending back the Timberlands just because the Crocs are a better option for us. Both shoes were extremely well made and I love that the Timberland sandals have such a soft memory foam, flexible sole. I took away one star because the Timberland sandals have more velcro on both straps and that concerns me because velcro typically starts to age and look old after awhile, whereas the Croc sandals have a different type of velcro and only on one strap. Overall they are great sandals for toddlers.

I don't necessarily love them, but my daughter does and that's who matters. This was my second time purchasing these Timberland sandals - the first pair held up so well (over a year) and are still in great condition so when my daughter outgrew them, I immediately looked to upgrade to a larger size. I wasn't thrilled with the $20+ price increase in the last year, but I guess that's what supply and demand gets you (would have been $40+ increase if we hadn't switched colors from pink to purple). If these last as well as the first pair (and they seem to be just as well-made), they're well worth the extra money. My daughter walks through everything (dirt, sand, water, mud) and these sandals clean off pretty well (I may have even tossed them in the washer a few times - just air dry). I guarantee when she grows out of the new pair, I'll be back again.

This sandal is soft, flexible, durable, comfy, airy for little toes and is great for a toddler! I would recommend these to anyone, and you can't beat the price! I bough these for my 15mt. old, and I have absolutely no regrets. I would buy another pair in a larger size if I got it. He learned to walk wearing these, there was not a blister, red spot or tears even when these stayed on for the whole day. He walked easily in them as they are very flexible. the straps are adequate even for meaty feet, there're simple and do the job.

This is a very attractive high quality shoe. My wife makes certain our daughter has fine quality apparel and this fits the mode. In fact, she bought two pairs, which was a mistake because our daughter will outgrow this before she wears it out. It's very well made. Very durable. Pretty. She likes it. My wife likes it. I am happy that they both like and enjoy it. I would suggest if you buy two do it in different sizes. Kids grow fast. Aside from that it's quite a well fitting and comfortable shoe.

It is really difficult to find sturdy, low-cost sandals for active, outside-loving girls once they get past a certain age (size). Each year, it is a battle to find decent-looking sandals that will hold up to the abuse my kids give them. While this sandal cost more than I want to spend (since I have five kids), it seems like it will hold up for the whole summer. The kids have been wearing them daily for almost a month so far - four months to go! These provide some cushion, are easy to get on and off, and grip my kids' feet tightly when running and playing. So far, I'm very pleased with the value for the money. The skid-resistance seems like enough as well. One of my kids has the "black/white" (red inner) color ones and another has the "black/royal" (blue inner) color. ----- Updated after two months: These are still going strong. They clean up pretty well, have held their color(s), and so far are holding together great. ----- Updated after five months: These have lasted from spring all the way through until fall. While they aren't overly stylish, they are definitely worth the money and have held up great! ----- Updated over a year later: My oldest girl to have these still fit in them at the beginning of spring #2. They lasted until almost the end of June of Year #2. The bottom of the toe area detached and started flopping. Daughter asked for another pair just like them (with room to grow) because they are comfy and easy to run in.

I would really recommend these. I've already bought 3 pairs in increasing sizes! They are durable and very well made, but also very comfy for my 2 year old. They're easy to put on and take off - my little one now puts them on himself. Whenever they got muddy or sandy I just rinsed them off under the tap and they're good as new again. I don't have anything negative to say about them!
