Olay ProX Micro-Peel, 1.3 Fl Oz

I have mixed but mostly positive feelings about this product so I decided to go ahead and do my review. First, I purchased this from Amazon Prime, not a third party. The product which arrived is not bottled like the picture above (white jar with white dropper top) but is a clear plastic jar with a silver cap similar to what is in the center description drawn. I wish the jar was colored or frosted, I worry about the sun exposure reducing effectiveness, but I keep mine in the medicine cabinet so should be OK. I loved the cap dispenser initially -- there is a button on the top that you press do dispense the product into the palm of your hand, then when you screw the lid back onto the jar it pops a bit and reloads yourself. Now i feel it was gimmicky -- the dropper is picking up less and less product each time even though the level of product is above the level that it's filling the dropper to. I would rather have a stopper I could work myself (even though I hate them) because i would know it would work and I won't be stuck with a bottle I can't get product out of. So . . . as far as the peel itself. I have used it five days straight, then went back to my retinol program. I have used it both with the retinol and this peel layered over it. I have not seen a lot of results. I think my skin is smoother and looks more even, but I haven't seen anything drastic, and I'm not entirely certain that it's not all in my head honestly. On the flip side, I also have had no bad side effects -- no burning, peeling, redness or irritation of any kind. So I'm feeling sort of unsure about it . . . I'm going to continue using it to see how I feel long term but if I am not convinced the results are true I won't be replacing this bottle.

I have seen a bit of a change in the wrinkles around my mouth by using it every night, but I am having a hard time getting past the sticky feeling. It's almost like I have sugar water on my skin, it feels so sticky. The first few nights I used it, my cheek was actually sticking to my 100% cotton pillow, it was so sticky. It seems to have gotten less sticky the more I've used it, which means maybe it's working better? I'm using exactly the amount it tells me to use -- 1-2 drops -- but it does seem sticky. I have seen a reduction in the 'marionette' lines around my mouth already after only 8 days of use and am excited to see if it really does reduce them. I was considering botox, and I'm very happy that there is a noticeable change this quickly. If they could somehow reduce the stickiness, I would give it 5 stars, but because of that, I'm only giving it 4 stars. Still worth it and I would buy again.

IDK if it's working miracles but my skin feels and looks good. I do it at night and put moisturizer over it. Pores are tight and I did get carded at 45 today.... millennial at the register that doesn't pay attention to surroundings or the crease between my brows from furrowing it in disgust for 30 years or I do look good? I'll go with the latter.

I've been using this for about 4 years. I love it for myself and have turned several friends, including my boyfriend, onto it. My underarms and bikini line are very prone to post-shave rashes and ingrown hairs. When I use this product after shaving (it usually stings a bit), it prevents both the rash and the ingrowns. This is a great relief to me, as the ingrown hairs had become really bad and nothing worked to prevent them before I found this product. My boyfriend's back tends to breakout and the Olay micro-peel reduces these breakouts. I have another friend who was having folliculitis and the gel seemed to help that problem, too. Because I've been so focused on my underarms and bikini line, I haven't used it a lot on my face but plan to start. I'm particularly interested to see if it will help my hyper pigmentation. Once I've used it consistently for that, I'll probably add to this or write a follow up review. I highly recommend this.

Using it every day tends to clog pores but very easy to use because it gives you just the right amount without guessing how much do use. Good value as I could see a difference in a couple of weeks.

I actually replaced Sunday Riley's Good Genes with this and am seeing far better results. My pores appear smaller and I break out less. I still use it with the Luna sleeping oil at night, very pleased with the results.

I'm using it now for almost a week but I'm not sure if it will peel off my skin, I have a big dark spot both side .I'm still observing if it's going to work for my skin .

If your skin responds well to AHAs, this the product for you. I saw a noticeable improvement after one use - decrease in inflammation, smoother appearance and better looking overall. I plan on using this long term, I hope Oley doesn’t discontinue it, like so many of my favorite products have been.

Very effective even for sensitive skin...skin looks anew and rejuvenated and very well hydrated too...it peels very softly and the results are marvellous...
