Sylvania Osram Lightify Smart Home 65W BR30 White/Color LED Light Bulb (2 Bulbs)

I have more than 20 of these lights and they work well. This is a very good price for these bulbs.Any color of white, or RGB. I use a Hubitat Hub with these lights and am very satisfied. Work fantastic with Alexa.

Horrible. I set them up in SmartThings, they work for an hour, then lose connection. They are in the same room as my access point and directly above the room with my smart things hub. This has been happening non stop for 2 days since I received them. I delete the bulbs, reset them up, they work for an hour, then go out one bulb at a time again. They also buzz after they lose connection.Even when they work, the colors are all washed out and they flicker like crazy when set to white. If I change the color ever so slightly, they stop flickering. As soon. As you turn the switch on and off, they go back to white and flicker again. I had to create a smart things scene and named it "no flicker." Each time I turn on the lights, I have to pick my phone and select the no flicker scene. Very annoying.I highly regret my purchase, especially because they were installed in a 12 foot high ceiling and they will be a nightmare to remove. Will have to carry the ladder back up to the 2nd floor of my house.

If you put them outside, they're going to fill with water. The lens is just snapped into place. If they're in the rain they're going to get water in them. Mine were pointing up. I suppose if you pointed them down, or sideways, the water wouldn't collect. The good news is that even filled with water they worked fine, although I wouldn't count on them lasting too long. I popped the lens off (a butter knife will pry it off without damage), dried them out, and will apply some clear silicone to the lens.

This does need a hub, but it is very cheap. They are very bright, even on the "dark blue" color.2 of these cost less than a single Philips Hue. My brother has those and we can't tell them apart. Save your money.I'm using these with a google home display and it was simple to setup once I figured out the osram integration. That is working perfectly for me as well.

I picked up this pair of lights for $20 which is great considering the price of other smart BR30 light bulbs. I don't really use them that much for the different colors (but it's nice to have) but have had no issues with them. I use them directly with our Echo Plus but they also connect to our SmartThings hub.Some people mentioned that they have had connection issues with them but I have had them up for awhile and have had no issues. Great buy, especially considering the competitions price.

For almost half the price of competing BR30 smart tunable lights, it was worth taking the chance despite the negative reviews. Unfortunately, the negative reviews are entirely correct. I paired both lights from this set to SmartThings, and they stayed connected and working as expected for about a week. After that point, one stays disconnected, while the other mostly stays disconnected. Sometimes, if I’m lucky, the one that sometimes connects up will turn on without being prompted during a movie or the middle of the night. As I write this, the one that I was able to turn on (but not off, of course) with Alexa to write this review with just changed colors from the not-so-white “daytime” color to its normal cool evening color.Disclaimer: I have 50+ smart objects throughout my house, and have been messing around with them since 2016. If this is due to my Zigbee network coverage, then the light’s signal has less than a 10 foot range, which is approximately the height at which BR30 lights are normally installed.

This product needs a hub. It didn't say this in the description when I ordered. It needs an OSRAM LIGHTIFY HUB to connect to internet.

These work just fine, regardless of what many of the reviews say about unreliability. I have nearly 2 dozen Sylvania/Osram bulbs and they all work fine after being properly configured in SmartThings. There are inherent configuration factors with all Zigbee lights and it’s necessary to do your homework, especially when it comes to creating a meshed network of Zigbee devices. If you are having troubles it’s more likely your network than it is the bulb(s).Yes, this requires a hub and it’s best just to bypass the Sylvania/Osram hub and connect directly to SmartThings, or whatever is your primary HA contoller.
