Excellent for added safety on any vehicle, truly expands visibility that even encompasses left side blind spot. This is a significant improvement over viewpoint of just rear window only. As i recall, i remember paying over $14 in the late eighties for a similar mirror, but when car was sold, i forgot to take it with me. The Amazon price of $9 is an awesome price. While reading the reviews, i saw some models that claim clarity and brightness to justify higher price...much higher price. I simply opted for this one because it closely resembles my original, and because i did, it was well worth it. Some reviewers did not like the pnoramic mirror because it was distorted? Thats nonesense in my humble opinion because it looks normal, justs increases field of view. I suppose if one is a nervous type of person that easily gets sensory overload, then this mirror is not for you. But if you want a mirror that remains rigidly in place, no tools needed, increases rear visibility, then this mirror is the right choice. Ordered for all our cars because its that good. Ill probably get some for my parents cars too if they dont have one yet. It goes without saying, highly recommended.

Works great. Easy to install and remove. Love the blue tint, helps with my sensitive eyes, especially when people with bright LEDs are behind me. Also appreciate the field of vision it provides. Great purchase.

It is good value for the price. The whole thing feels rather light weight in your hand, almost flimsy, but once you mount it, it works fine. I suppose you wouldn't want a clamp-on mirror that was too heavy because it might come off. The springs that hold this in place seem to be sufficient. If I were to try to improve this product, I would consider using some sort of rigid backing behind the reflective metal inside the mirror because if you try hard enough, you can bend it. I was going to give it 4 stars but upgraded to 5 just because it was the best price.It is worth noting that if you are unsure of what size mirror you want to get, cut out some pieces of cardboard in the dimensions of the mirrors you're looking at and hold them up in your car. I chose this 12" mirror because the 14" would have prevented my sun shades from going all the way to the windshield.

I like that these are an option and also easy to install. It does what it advertises and assists with blind spots. However, the appearance as you're driving, especially faster speeds, can be nauseating. I also wish that there was an option for a skinnier mirror, as the Mirror covers a good portion of my car. One more thing to add is to be cautious if using it while backing up, because objects are closer than they appear.

It’s so much better than my wimpy little one the car came with. Although it’s only a little bigger, I couldn’t imagine driving without it. The little bit of extra space gives it so much clarity. Easier to see in. Easy application, just snaps right onto your old mirror with some clamps. LOVE THIS THING! I even influenced my sister to get one. Def recommend

Mine lasted maybe ~2 years before breaking on its own. I almost never move/adjusted it in that time. The problem is the materials in the design. To hold onto your existing mirror, there are two vertical "clamps" that are squeezed together by a (relatively strong) spring. So: 1) you can't adjust the tension at all, and 2) the tension that it creates causes too much stress on the bottom part of the clamp. So in time the bottom plastic tabs will wear out and just start to crack. When they do crack, the mirror becomes useless because there's no bottom half of the "clamp" to hold to anything. Advice for manufacturer--the bottom and top "tabs" need to be metal with rubber coating, not plastic.

Why it is very good, the clamps have broken off after 1 year with two previous mirrors.

The rear-view mirror surface in our Ranger was starting to curl up along the edges. A Ranger replacement mirror costs an arm and a leg. This one is inexpensive and seemed like a good fill-in until we could get to a junk yard and pick up a Ranger mirror cheap. No need to do that, as it turns out -- this mirror is excellent! Wide view, installs easily (hook it on at the bottom, then click in place at the top). Clear, bright reflection -- I look through three layers of tinted glass behind me, which is dark even during the day -- now it's brighter and I can see what's behind me! Wipes off easily. So, I guess we won't have to be hitting the local junk yard -- this one is better than the original!
