We got one and ended up collecting all of these books! Fantastic ways to learn about the animals in a personal and connective way! Stories are great, fun illustrations and meaningful learning about the animals and their habitats! Could not recommend them more!!!

My friends son love this book about turtles.

We've read this to our 19mo. twice and every time we go upstairs for a nap or bedtime (this book is in our upstairs book stash) he asks "Tammy Turtle?" He loves anything to do with animals and this book series is great for that. We started with Izzie Lizzie Alligator, which we bought in the Everglades, and purchased this and Perry Penguin when we found out this was a series.Love that these are illustrated realistically, are scientifically accurate, and incorporate interesting facts that anyone can appreciate.

Love this book about turtles, written as a story, but with all accurate facts. Highly recommend!

Read every book from Suzanne Tate. She is an amazing author who brings knowledge of our environment and the animals that live in it. Fantastic author and I love her books for my students!

This is a lovely story. Multiple copies were purchased to send home with Grade 2 students after completing a 4 week session on life in and around Long Island Sound.

What a great story to teach young kids respect for sea animals. My 3 year old grandson loves this book.
