I ordered this book used in "good" condition, and it was far better than "good". It was perfect. It looked as if one, very careful child had read it once. The only problem that I had was not the seller's fault, but the delivery person's. The day it was delivered, it was raining and the package was soaked on one corner (where it was uncovered by the overhang), and it caused a ripple one the corner of the book throughout all of the pages.The story it's self is adorable and funny. I love it and so do my students. Doreen Cronin writes wonderful books. We have her entire collection.

Adorable book! One to add to a child’s library.

(Speaking of "smash," poor Duck, one of the most beloved Cronin characters ever, experiences one in this book; read it and see!) This is another hilariously fun read for pre-schoolers and parents/teachers alike, with a very satisfying, laugh-out-loud, typically-Doreen-Cronin twist at the end. Special Note: Keep your eyes on those meteorologist mice! They are the most accurate forecasters I've ever seen!Long live sly, irreverent Duck, my hero! He builds the best ticket booth I have EVER seen! Don't miss this book.

If you are new to the books of Doreen Cronin you are in for a wonderful treat.If you are familiar with her books Thump, Quack, Moo; is a great addition tothe collection.What I like best about Thump, Quack, Moo and all of Doreen Cronin's books is theiruniversal appeal, my four year old niece loves them as does my 68 year old mother.

Had a rip on the cover. Going to use this in my classroom and sad it came with a rip :( Second box I got with a cover ripped for these books.

This series of books is hilarious. I love reading them to my 3 year old. This is my favorite out of the series. The story is funny and the illustrations are hilarious. Long live Duck!

The item was in great condition and it was up for the lowest price I could find online or anywhere. I got it for my niece and nephew, and they love it, and - bonus! - it came in plenty of time for Christmas, even though the shipping time warned me that it might not!

Hilarious for young (and not so young) readers

Our family loves the Betsy Lewin books. I enjoy reading them almost as much as our son loves hearing them.
