Recipe Card Divider 3-by-5-Inch Set

Initially these looked great online. They have a lot of information and a nice variety of tabs but the card stock is very thin and would not hold up to use over time. The writing is fine for young eyes, but if you are older and have a hard time reading fine print it would be a challenge to use the additional information on the cards.

This are great. I just wish that there were more or possibly blank ones

I received my recipe box and cards at a wedding shower 41 years ago. The cards were torn and not usable anymore. These are east to read and it is fun to see the extra information about the foods on each card. And it fits in my 41 year old recipe box.

I purchased these to replace original dividers when I got my moms recipe box after she passed. As other reviews have said, they are thick paper, not close to a good cardstock. They do sit higher than my old dividers. That could be an issue depending on the box you have your recipes in. My lid, when closed, didn’t bend them too much. I did cut a bit off the bottoms because of that. The amount I trimmed did not cut off any of the info that is printed on the cards. They are easy to read and the categories are in alpha order. One of the photos attached shows a new divider and an original one. My recipe cards are 3” x 5”. They do serve their purpose and I would purchase again.

In addition to being sturdy, easy to read with bold-face print, and attractively presented, to my surprise, these dividers were formatted the same as the forty-year old dividers that they were replacing, in that they included useful information for each category. I would have liked for the set to have included a couple of unlabeled cards for a few additional categories, but I easily repurposed some of the dividers that I didn't find useful.

I am disappointed in this product.They are pretty flimsy, to the point that I havent even put them into my recipe box and I received them at least six months ago.I guess we chalk this up to a waste of time and money. They are absolutely NOT sturdy. They are relatively flimsy, especially since they are mwant to be thicker and more sturdy than typical recipe cards because they are meant to be used as dividers in the recipe box.These absolutely do not serve that purpose.I will be searching again to find a GOOD quality set of decorated, titled recipe divider cards because these missed the mark by a mile.I guess you could buy these as a gift for someone else, because in theory, recipe divider cards are a neat little, functional organizing method for a recipe box. Personally, I wouldn't waste tike buying these to gift to someone unless you don't like the person much because I cant even use them for myself due to their extreme flimsiness.In a nutshell: Save your money; buy your recipe cards from somewhere else because these wont hold up.

Nice set of dividers for my recipe box to replace the discolored and worn set I have had for decades. Another reviewer has listed all of the categories included in the set, so I won't repeat her. I will say that I have not thought of a category I wished was there but isn't. There are a few I won't use, but better too many than too few. I really appreciate that someone still makes accessories for those of us who have 3x5 recipe boxes (almost all now have 4x6 exclusively) as well as the fact that these are made here in the US. I also was very happy that when I did find what I was looking for in the correct size, I was able to purchase it with Prime shipping. So many places that sell these type of household items charge as much to ship them as the product cost!
