Minky Rosebud BANANA Fabric By the Yard

I bought this to make a plush poodle for a young girl. There was nothing really wrong with the fabric itself. It is very soft to the touch, it is a nice pastel yellow in color, and it seems quite durable to be a child's toy. The problem I had with it is actually my own fault.This fabric is meant to be sewn by a sewing machine. Although I own a sewing machine, it doesn't work. Everything I make is sewn by hand. This fabric is not meant to be sewn by hand. Because I sew by hand, I make my stitches very tight (so tight that I use upholstery thread so I don't break the thread). Because I pull on the thread rather hard, the backing of the fabric isn't strong enough to withstand it and it comes apart. The material now is just used as a background when I take photos of my custom plush animals
