Works better than the pen that originally came with my Surface Pro
This pen is extremely easy to set up and use. Basically put in the battery and its ready to go. I didn't need to sync it or set up anything or download any drivers, it just works pretty much right out of the box. Ever since I had to change the battery in my original surface pro pen I had to keep pairing/syncing it and it is really inconsistent in performance. This pen has been consistently working since I got it. It comes with some spare replacement nibs and the battery is included. For the price this is an excellent pen well worth the money. On the downside it doesn't have the extra button that works like a right click and it's not magnetic so it can't stick to the side of my Surface Pro, both things my original pen had but it's a fair trade off for how well it does work.

Love the precision, and there is next to no lag time
I've been having so much fun with this pen that I almost forgot to write the review. I have been using it on a Surface Pro 6, most often with the screen detached and flat. What I like most is the precision, along with the lack of lag time. Drawing, writing and painting with this pen has a very natural feel and it is really enjoyable to use because of that. The finest lines and most subtle shading is very easy to accomplish with this pen. And the palm rejection has worked flawlessly for me. So far, I have been super impressed with its performance.I did have a hard time deciding whether to give this four stars instead of five. I ultimately went with five because of the price. This is an excellent value for the money. But there are a couple of minor negatives to point out:-- The first is that the eraser/right-click button on the pen is not only flush with the barrel, but is pretty thin, and that makes it a bit difficult to hold it in Erase Mode for any length of time. I find that I have to hold it just so or my thumb moves off of it just enough to re-activate the drawing again, which of course I either have to erase or Undo.-- The second thing is the size of the pen. I have very small hands and the pen feels slightly small in it. I'm fussy about writing/drawing implements in general - the size, where the weight falls, etc - so it's possible that others would not be bothered by the size, but it's a noticeable thing for me. I'd rather it be a tad beefier to hold. The Bottom Line:Overall this is a very responsive and highly precise pen. Besides allowing me to get the visual results I want from drawing with it, the palm rejection absolutely works so there are never any residual "Where did that come from?" marks or lines on my artwork. An excellent value at this price. ($30)

Good Replacement For The Stock Surface Pen
I've had a Surface Pro 4 for some time now. This pen is every bit as good as the one which came with the device. The original pen still functions, but the clip which attaches the pen to the tablet came loose some time ago. I hate to say it, but I was not surprised when that happened, as Microsoft accessories, especially their power cords, seem to have a shorter-than-normal lifespan. The clip on this pen is not glued in, as with the original Surface Pen, so no worries about it coming off. I experimented with the Paint 3D app and with handwriting letters on the tablet, and I am pleased with the performance of the pen in both cases. I'm not going to throw away the original Surface Pen, but it is no longer the one I use with the tablet. I'm keeping it just in case this one fails. Microsoft should consider outsourcing the production of their pen to a company like the one who manufactured this device, which is frankly more stylish than the Surface Pen. It never occurred to me to try another pen until I saw this device, and I am glad we've had the opportunity to test it out. I would recommend this pen for a Surface user who needs a replacement that is as good or maybe even better than the original Surface Pen.

Incredible bargain!
When I got my Surface Book 2, it was frustrating that after spending a pretty good bit of coin, then I had to shell out another $100+ for a stylus. It felt like I was being nickeled and dimed - except it was with Benjamin Franklins instead of small change! So when I ordered the Surface Pen, Adrawpen Microsoft Certified Surface Pro Pen with Palm Rejection, 4096 Pressure Sensitivity I really wasn't expecting it to compare with the Microsoft Branded Surface Pen. I was wrong. It absolutely compares with it and in most ways, quite favorably.First, it comes with an Energizer AAAA battery, it also has a stylus removal tool and two extra styluses or stylii or whatever they are called in plural. Second, it just works! And it works just like the Microsoft pen that costs 3x as much!It looks nice but there are a couple of things you give up - they aren't huge though. One is the magnetic connection to the Surface Book Pro. That isn't huge to me. I like that my Surface Pen does it, but I can live without it. Another thing is that this has a very odd way of putting the battery in place. You unscrew the back, which wouldn't be odd or bad, except the pocket holder tab, that is supposed to keep the pen in your pocket, presses against the pen so when you turn the cover to put the battery in, you are scratching on your pen. If you do that often (you shouldn't have to) it will eventually wear out the paint on the pen case and make it look scratched and cheap. Also, the Microsoft pen has the eraser on the back that this does not have.Still for the huge price difference, and the excellent compatibility that this has with the Surface Book Pro series, it is a five star product for sure!!!
