Low electricity consumption in an Edison type lamp
I have several Meross outlets and a light switch so I'm familiar with their products. I have other brands as well but none work so well as the Meross. Easy to program and install and barely a hiccup, therefore I purchased the Edison lamp with full confidence. However the bulb had a problem from the beginning - it blinked bright and brighter. I tried it for a couple of days and it still blinked. I emailed customer support and they responded quickly. They asked for a video of the bulb blinking, which I sent. Within a couple of days they said they would send a new bulb which they did and it works perfectly. Great to be able to buy a product from a responsible company.

Meross never disappoints!
I purchased a two-pack for use in the coach lights on either side of my garage door. Our house was wired by a madman, so one light can only be turned on or off from inside the house. You have to use a switch in the garage to turn the other light on or off. This is the perfect solution to running back and forth through the house to turn the outdoor lights on! I have them grouped with the Meross bulb in our porch lights and can turn them all on at once. I added the group to our "Bedtime" routine for Alexa, so they'll turn off along with the other lights on the main floor.I programmed the bulbs *inside* the house, using the lamp in my office where the router is located. Once they were installed on the Meross app and by Alexa, I installed them outside. That way they were connected and programmed when I moved them outside where the wifi signal might not be as strong. I was worried about the bulbs' ability to get a signal and operate outside, but they work perfectly!!!!

Great - When It Works
I bought a pair of these bulbs to put in my living room end table lamps. Installation and setup was easy. And I really like the Alexa integration so that I can tell them to turn on or off or dim. But about a third of the time, one or the other bulbs disconnect themselves from my network and so it won't respond. And the bulbs are in the same room as my network wireless router so it seems really odd that they would do that. I end up having to use the light switch to manually turn it off and then back on again so that it will reconnect. If Meross comes out with a firmware fix that will resolve this problem and make the connection more stable, the bulbs would be perfect. Unfortunately, I can only rate them so-so at this time due to this problem.

Issue with wifi going out
We've had issues with wifi signal getting lost, which I had assumed was due to minor interruptions from our provider. But, our streaming doesn't go out and I realize it's the bulbs. Woke up one morning with one of the bulbs flashing like a strobe light. It's in a chandelier with 2 other bulbs and they were out, as I shut them off the night before with Alexa. I told Alexa to turn off the light and not found on the wifi. So, I flipped the switch off, kept it off for a while, then turned it back on. Still flashing like a strobe light. Off/on off/on off/on again, as the instructions tell you to do, still strobe light and no wifi signal transmitted from the bulb. It would appear when the wifi signal goes dead, broke, etc, the bulb can't even operate as a normal bulb. I tried leaving the switch off for several hours, still no signal still strobe light. I unscrewed the bulb for several more hours, again, no wifi signal and still strobing. The bulbs wifi signal has obviously broke and the bulb is useless.I've had problems with these bulbs losing their wifi signal and now I'm convinced they just have lousy devices, which require reconnecting to wifi Eventually completely breaking within a year. I'm sure we'll lose the other ones as well and this is disappointing for expensive bulbs. Now I have chandelier in my dining room with one bulb out,. I don't want to buy a replacement because these bulbs are so annoying having to reconnect them to the wifi all the time. The other issue was the bulbs over my island in the kitchen started flickering, so I removed them from my device and reconnected them. They're working now, but I'm sure they are probably going out as well. I don't want to buy these bulbs again, but I bought 5 packages of them, over $100 investment for bulbs that have annoyed the hell out of me and which I'm pretty sure aren't going to last. I have a house full of smart bulbs, so I'm not a beginner on smart bulbs. These are just crap and I wouldn't buy them again. I'll be waiting for them to go out and eventually will have to make another investment in another company's bulbs.

Great bulb
So far, this is a great smart bulb. I have a lot of Zigbee-controlled lights and they are ALWAYS a pain. This bulb is WiFi only, but its app has scheduling and scene capabilities (including dusk-dawn). It effortlessly configured and after I discovered you need to add the Meross skill (not clearly mentioned as far as I can tell) it integrated with my Echos. Works every time. The light is in an exposed fixture and looks great on, and looks like a traditional bulb when off. My only complaint is that when I access it via my Echos, it does not remember the previous power level and comes on 100% bright. This does not happen in my scheduled routine, so it must be a limitation in the Alexa skill. Overall, I'm very happy!

Great so far!
I purchased these for the 2 enclosed light fixtures at our front door. So glad I found vintage smart bulbs that are dimmable. They certainly look better than regular smart bulbs. Very easy to set up with the meross app. I them set at 30% brightness and that gives plenty light at the front door steps. It is good to know a can put them at full brightness at any time you need it. Setting up a timer schedule is easy. Great for when away from home or when coming home late at night. I was a little unsure whether to purchase a brand I never heard of and there was only 14 reviews, but glad I did. To be honest, it's only been 4 days since I've installed them. I'm happy enough that I'm considering buying another set for a lamp in my bedroom.

Meross dimmable smart light bulb. Yes you can tell Google/Alex to dim the bulb.
The bulb is easy to install. Screw in the light and run the app. I was up and running in minutes. I have tested it with both Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Meross app works with verbal commands from either. You can dim/brighten the light with verbal commands as well. To use the app to control the light, tap on the "pencil" icon in the top right corner of the icon. This will take you to a new screen with a dimming slider on the left and on/off button on the bottom. I have the latest firmware installed on both the app and the bulb. You can do this easily from the app.In the Meross app main page, tap on the far right icon at the top (It looks like a person) This will take you to a new page. Near the bottom is both the App Update and the Firmware Update.

Works as advertised
Just getting into some of the smart home stuff. I've used meross smart plugs and they were easy to set up. Bought one of these bulbs to try. Added it to the meross app. Added it to Google Home. Easier than replacing a switch and it is dimmable too. No hub required. Slick. Just note that it is 700 lumens. Personally, I consider a 60W equivalent to be 800 lumens. Not much difference, but just enough to notice.

Works perfectly, exactly as expected
So far it works exactly as expected. It has a very nice natural yellowish light. It was easy to connect to the Meross app. It's easily dimmable using the app. I have it set to turn on and off on a daily schedule. I definitely recommend Meross products. I have a few of them (plugs, light, and garage door opener/closer) and they all work as expected. I included 3 pictures, the first one is what you get in the packaging, the 2nd is the light dimmed, and the 3rd is on full brightness.

Another great product from Meross
This is my first clear smart bulb from Meross. It works great with the app. Easy to set up and very user friendly. The quality of the bulb is top notch. I like the Edison style bulb, it’s class looking. I am using it as an accent bulb behind my dresser having it light up the wall behind.
