I was a little concerned that all these great reviews were all hype for money as a lot of reviews are these days. After considering pros and a con or two and comparing my 3 other possibilities I decided IF these were honest reviews then this was definitely my 1st. choice. I noticed that these are fairly new to the market judging this by review dates. I finally decided since I thought these would meet my needs best.. why not just bite the bullet and try them. So glad I did. We had zero problems and all 4 were set up quickly and easily and Alexa paired beautifully. They arrived in 1 day, well packaged and if I decide to move forward and need more smart plugs I will definitely tap the buy again button without hesitation. Thanks!

Got a set of the smart plugs so that while I'm away I wanted to be able to turn on/off devices to make it appear that I'm around to deter any undesirables.The plugs are small and discrete. The instructions are simple to follow and got the 1st smart plug configured in under 5 minutes from unpacking. As it was so simple I have the other 3 configured as well for various places around the house.Came home with my wife the other night and the lights were on as we pulled in, surprising her rather than coming home to a dark property.The application is simple to use - I have it on the iPhone but there is an Android app as well. I'll be working out on some of the advanced functionality such as voice commands but I'm incredibly pleased with the product and will be buying some more.

I have been looking and trying different smart plugs from Walmart once and Amazon twice, three brand in total. Two of them were made by the same company using Smart Home App. I bought two from Walmart and one of them failed. I bought 4 plugs from two different brands respectively and one of them failed within a day or two respectively. The one I used for a window air condition failed. It was powered on and connected to wifi but failed to turn on the AC unit, which I guess power circuit was broken somehow. So if you want to use it with a window AC, it may not work fine even if your smart plug comes with 16 amp or 10 amp. Both of them I tried. I guess I will buy three again from Walmart and when one of them fail, I will return it. Walmart offers one with the same price with Amazon.Update:The company sent me a smartplug for free for trial, for which I add two more stars to the original rating. I will try it for a month and then will decide whether to add more stars or go back to one star depending on the outcome.Update 2It's been just few days from trying a united given by the company to me for free of charge. Sadly, the unit failed again. Its wifi is working but the main circuit board seems overheating when my window AC unit working for a while. I have other units for my bedroom TV and for another window AC unit, which is turn on occasionally. These two units are working fine so far for more than a couple of months. I guess this smartplug is not good for Window AC in my case. Hope this review helps you with your choice about this kind of plug.Update 3 (08/12/19)The unit failed. It powers on and seems to respond to a command from my smartphone. But it fails to turn on the appliance connected to it. So, I reduced the stars from 3 to 2.

My wife and I have several low-light lamps throughout the house (salt lamps, and a butterfly shaped nightlight). I wanted to find a way to have them illuminate the hallways late at night. These smart outlets really did the trick!One at a time I paired them to the "Smart Life" app, and they automatically integrated with Amazon Alexa. I was also able to set them up to automatically turn on at sunset and turn off at sunrise, so no more stumbling about in the hall or turning on the ceiling lights and waking people up.The only issue I encountered was in the initial pairing, they would not pair using the "standard" method and for each one I had to put the device into "default mode" before it was recognized. I'm not taking away any stars, because it only added about 15 seconds to the process.

It is important when initially integrating these into your network to be as close to the router as possible. Within a couple feet is best. After the initial integration you can move them as needed. After they were in the system they worked at 100 percent reliability through several walls as far away as 50 feet keeping in mind access to a decent WiFi signal. I was able to confirm function through security video and they never failed after more than a week of programmed function. The programming can also be successfully accessed from any internet connection including in Europe via the app.

I was so excited to get these because I've been meaning to try them. I got them and they were really easy to set up. The QR code on the box didn't work because my phone wouldn't open the APK, but I found the app in the Google Play Store. I plugged it in, connected it, and connected to my Google Home--simple! And it works amazing! My only complaint is that it requires a grounding pin socket. Most sockets have these, of course, but some of mine don't because I live in an old house. So if you have outlets you want to use that don't have a grounding pin, then you should find another product. The upside, of course, is you can plug in appliances with a grounding pin. I'm probably going to replace some outlets so I can use these. Definitely would buy some more if I had a bigger house!!
