Topper

I have had horrible sleep issues for years. My bed isn't that old, however, because I am overweight it tends to get sags in it. That caused me to start having pain in my hips. To compound that, I injured my lower back 6 months ago and then 2 months ago I injured my knee. (Believe me, I'm not the klutz I appear to be.) I have always had to sleep on my side because of my sleep apnea and that only added to my hip pain. UGHI had purchased a twin size topper for a foldout chair that an 11-year old friend sleeps on when she's here. She said it was so comfortable. I decided to put it on my queen size bed one night to see how it worked! IT WAS FANTASTIC! The best night of sleep I have had in a long time, I had ZERO pain when I woke up, and from what the 11-year old said, I did not snore or stop breathing while on my back! That was all it took so I bought one for myself. As I mentioned, I have a queen size bed yet the Full XL size actually fits perfectly. My only suggestion would be that if there are two of you in the bed, and you have a king size bed, consider buying 2 twin sizes. I know that when the 11-year old and I were on the full size together, I didn't get the entire fit around my body on the side she was on.I think the #1 concern people have when they get foam like this is that it will flatten. That has not been the case. I have seen no difference in the size of the foam, comfort level, sturdiness, and so on. As I said, I am quite overweight and it has the same feel as the day I purchased it. This has totally changed how I well I sleep and how my body feels.

I got my foam mattress cover the day I was just beginning a three day illness. I didn't follow the instructions and did not lay the mattress cover out flat for 48 hrs. I unwrapped it and made up the bed. And there I laid for three days. It did have a strong smell at first but I sprayed it with a little lavender oil and it seemed to be gone by morning. It is comfortable. It may be a little more soft than I needed but I'll see if that remains true when I am not in the bed for 24 hrs at a time. I like that it isn't shifting under the mattress cover and sheets. It seems to be staying in place unlike the last one I had that every few days I'd have to readjust. It is thick enough that the old lumpy mattress underneath isn't felt. UPDATE:I've had the mattress pad now for a few months and I love it even more. I have had a knee issue from an old break years ago and since sleeping on this foam pad the chronic soreness has gone away. I raved about this pad so much my girlfriend bought one for her bed. She has issues with her arm falling asleep at night due to a shoulder injury. She reports this issue is now gone as well. So now with two happy customers I suggested my mother buy one as well. She bought her foam mattress pad and a few days later emailed me and said "We love it." Three very happy customers. I'm sure there will be more because I can't stop talking about it. My sisters is coming for the holidays. She'll be sleeping on two different beds each with a foam pad. We'll see what she thinks..........

This is not memory foam, but it is not the yellow craft foam as other reviewers have said. It is a better quality than that, but obviously a step below true memory foam. I bought this for my daughter's terrible cheap mattress and it has made a world of difference. Especially when I lay in bed to read or talk at night with her. The foam is cut true to twin size, no overage or underage at all. I did not notice any smell, but I allowed it to fluff up in a well ventilated room that I don't usually walk around in for a good three days before putting it on her bed.For the price you can't beat this topper, but it is probably not the best choice for someone with back problems or a supremely terrible mattress underneath. For my light daughter and my occasional 15-30minute lay-downs, it makes her supremely terrible mattress underneath incredibly comfortable.

I was looking for an affordable mattress topper that would add some softness to a pretty firm Mattress. I didn't want the bumpy top you get with egg crate foam and I didn't want to pay the premium price for quality memory foam. I saw this listing and it seemed to meet my basic criteria.. it's very affordable. It's a solid foam with a flat surface. I wasn't expecting it to be as comfortable as it is! The instructions say to leave it out on a flat surface for 48 hours. It was delivered early in the afternoon and I opened it and put it on the bed. It's about a quarter of an inch thick when it comes out of the package. By bed time it had expanded but not up to the 2" size it's supposed to be. It did make the bed more comfortable. I didn't realize that it would get even softer and more comfortable the next day. By the second night it was up to it's full thickness and felt much more comfortable. I could have spent three times as much for a memory foam topper and it probably wouldn't be this comfortable. Best value for price you'll find for a topper.

Llevo 3 años y contando con este “mattress topper” como le llaman en inglés, lo compré porque estoy viviendo en el extranjero y las camas donde me hospedaba son estándar un poco duras para mi gusto (dime despertaba en las noches por el dolor de cadera).La coloqué y problema solucionado!! Súper cómoda y económico. Recuerda que gran parte de tu vida lo pasas durmiendo así que esta inversión vale la pena.

Well i bought this at the right time, last week it was $77 and this week I see it's $129 !!My high end bed started to sag and we put up up with it for longer than we should have. So feeling frugal this time, I opted to replace it with a lower cost bed, and because the old one was saggy we were more attracted to the beds that were quite firm. However, after a few nights, we realized we bought one that was too firm and since it was on clearance we couldn't return it.I decided to make my own version of a pillow top for the new bed. I purchased a cotton covered polyester filled mattress topper for the top surface (also from Amazon - again a bargain at $12 that tripled in price the following week???) and then I looked for a foam layer to go under it. I didn't want memory foam, which I find squishes too much beneath you and makes it more of a challenge for turning and moving, so note that this product is NOT memory foam, but regular foam that doesn't take days to decompress. It arrived vacuum packed in plastic and comes in a small box, but it's more or less how it's going to be as soon as you unwrap it. It's medium firmness, not too hard, not too soft. There was a hint of factory odour immediately upon removing the plastic wrap, but left it to air for the afternoon and neither hubby or I noticed any odour when sleeping on it that same night. The foam comes without a cover, just a piece of foam, nothing more. The mattress topper holds it in place as it has sides on it just like a fitted sheet. It holds it all in place very well and since the topper is cotton covered it's more breathable gives us a more natural fabric to sleep on, it's a perfect combination, just as comfortable as my old high end bed and far less expensive.Prior to this my husband had started getting symptoms of poor sleep, so last night he had his first good night in ages, so that makes me very happy.When looking at this product there wasn't a queen size available at the time, so I opted for the King and cut the excess off very easily with a bread knife. I've probably voided the warranty by doing that, but I'm not losing any sleep over it.Icing on the cake: the extra foam that I've cut off is big enough for me to make a seat cushion formy kitchen bench saving me about $80. Not one, but two very happy customers.

Me gustó desde el empaque, las instrucciones claras, 48 horas en un espacio abierto y plano para que se abra, es muy fácil de colocar, está bastante ancho lo que permite que sí sea acolchado. Se mueve un poco de la cama, creo que porque las sábanas no alcanzan a cubrirlo con todo y colchón. Se tienen que mandar a hacer sábanas especiales o usarlo en colchones más delgados para que alcance.

I bought this mattress topper because my residence room's mattress (if you can call it a mattress) was extremely uncomfortable and I was having difficulties sleeping. The mattress topper arrived on time and was as described. It isn't a perfect fit for my mattress and sometimes feels like it is going to fall off. It smelled very bad at first, but I followed the instructions and left it out on a flat surface for 48 hours before using it. I am very happy that I made this purchase because the mattress topper has made my residence bed a lot more comfortable and I can now sleep more comfortably. It isn't the most comfortable thing I have slept on, but it has definitely improved my sleeping situation for the academic year.

Es un gran producto, tiene una muy buena densidad y es realmente muy suave, el único inconveniente es que no tiene una funda pero si le colocas una sábana queda perfecto y protegido, excelente compra, llegó antes de lo esperado... volvería a compar con éste vendefor...
