Livid Instruments Guitar Wing wireless MIDI control surface for Guitar

I love the idea for this - I often run my bass guitar through a computer onstage to get a wider range of tones. It saves lugging around a whole bunch of pedals and amps. Seeing as I mainly go through the PA I don't need an amp next to me and generally play to what comes out of the monitors.When I saw videos of this I rejoiced! Finally a way of changing effects on my computer which frees me from a MIDI switch! My idea was that, with this, I would be free to roam around the stage and trigger effects/sounds. The problem I found was that in order to control the software I use I hd to press the toggle switches twice to turn any effect on or off - I tried updating the firmware but it didn't change that unfortunately. This may not have normally been a problem but considering that you may just want to quickly press a button whilst still playing the need to make two firm double taps kind of ruined the fluency. It also means that the lights on the front can be inconsistent when telling you what is on and off.I may take another look at the next iteration of this because it really is a great idea - the ribbon controllers, accelerometer, momentary switches, and tracking are all great.
