I love these boots! I bought them for working in a horse yard so they need to be tough, warm and waterproof - these boots are all those! They are really tough, but still somehow lightweight, they are really warm and cosy, and the rubber lower part keeps the water out (The quilted part around your ankle isn't waterproof itself, but it is shower proof so as long as the water isn't too deep you'll be fine) :)The reason I said the fit is slightly too large is because I personally find them a little loose across the top of the ankle (the part where the rubber meets the quilted upper), but I don't find this a problem, just a simple observation.I love how easy they are to put on/off, just the zip down the front and the velcro strap which makes them easy to kick off after a long day, but also secure enough that they don't come off when you're working :)I would definitely recommend these boots, I hope this is helpful!

I wanted to use these boots for walking the dog. We do 5 miles a day so they had to be comfortable and hard wearing.I have size 8, wide foot so I was not sure if they would fit, but they do - perfectly, and are as warm and comfortable as a pair of slippers but give support round the ankles.So I am more than pleased with them

I have a pair of these with a different top but the Velcro closing has unfortunately worn away after only one year and won't stay closed but I really loved them. I found these with the zip closing, I've only tried them on so far but the fitting is better and they are more snug around my calves which is better. I read the reviews about the zip being too stuff but mine are fine to do up.The delivery was also very quick.

This is a great hybrid mucking, walking in wet/snow boot.I got an 8 and I take a 7 1/2. It is about a size too big, but I can tell, by the way my heel slips, that these boots are sized the way Wellies are. They have no proper fit unless you are comletely flat footed.Do NOT listed to the reviews that they run small. They clearly do not. My partner got a pair and had exactly the same issue.However, they are warm, dry and made for the wet, mucky and cold. Recommended, as they are a terrific value, just don't expect the fit of a proper hiking boot.

These boots are great for long dog walks through muddy fields. They are solid but not heavy, and keep your feet toasty warm. I ordered my usual size; there's definitely enough room for a pair of really thick socks. Great grip - I'd buy these again.

I wear these boots every day to walk the dog in muddy fields. They are comfortable to wear and keep my feet nice and warm. I’ve stepped in a few puddles and they’re waterproof too. I recently wore them to climb the third highest mountain in England (snow capped) and boyfriend said “we’ll go as far as we can in your non hiking boots and then turn back”. Well, we got all the way to the top and back down no problem!

Having paid too much attention to reviews that said these run on the large side, I took the advice and ordered my normal shoe size (5) rather than the boot size (6) I'd normally buy forsake of thick socks etc. They only just fit with regular socks on, and wouldn't have been comfortable for long with toes pushing right on the tip of the boot. I'd say these are true to size, and not to go by folk suggesting they are too big. They are wide, but appropriately so for the style and purpose of the boot. Unfortunately they did not have a 6 to exchange with, so have a refund instead. The seller was quick and helpful to deal with, though buyer pays return postage, so I lost out a bit there.I can't comment on them further beyond aesthetics as i didnt use them - but they looked very sturdy and well made. I will check back and buy a 6 when in stock.The only caution I would issue, is if you have large calves you may struggle to get the zip all the way up / it may feel too tight. However, there is also a velcro strap across so you can use that instead / as well as the zip and still secure them to your feet.

This is the third pair of boots of this type that I have had but these are by far the best. The rubber boot is strong and eaterproof. The ankle padding is smart and snug and the lining is comfortable and very warm. These were a fiver more than I’d paid previously but the quality is a real step up. Previous ones have only lasted about a year but have been heavily worn. We’ll see how long these last but I’m betting much longer.
