Motorcraft quality!
Hard to beat Motorcraft OEM quality for replacement parts. These are OEM Motorcraft spark plugs and worked perfect for my tune up. All of mine gap checked perfect - but I've seen where some arrive with the gap incorrect. Always a good idea to check. A drop of anti-seize on the threads will aid in installation and removal next time.

Can't beat Motorcraft
Perfect OEM replacement part for my 2009 Ford Fusion SEL V6. I made sure to pick up some anti-seize to put on the threads before putting them into the block, and I checked the gap with my gap tool. The gap was already set to the proper manufacturer specs so I did not have to do any adjustments. I just got over 100,000 miles on my car, so it was around the time to replace the spark plugs. I knew that the plugs would possibly make a little bit of difference but WOW... the car drives with so much more spunk and power now! Stick to your maintenance, it makes a huge difference! I only use Motorcraft, and these are exactly what I would recommend to someone that has to swap out plugs.

The other five were perfect. I didn't notice until it was too late ...
One of six plugs arrived with the gap too small. The other five were perfect. I didn't notice until it was too late to order another. I adjusted the gap with an old spark plug gap tool (not meant for platinum plugs) which bends the tang. I was careful not to mar the plating, but just to be safe, I put the plug in an easy access cylinder. My car has been running great with these plugs for a few months. The old plugs were fourteen years old and one (the hardest to get to) had an excessive gap that was causing a misfire. I hope to get as many years from these.

Factory original on Ford Escapes
I've had 5 or 6 Ford Escapes in my household over the last 13 years. The original plugs are good for 100,000 miles. The first time I did a spark plug replacement, I tried Bosch, and the engine ran terrible. Went back to the Motorcraft originals (platinum tipped, good for 50,000 miles) and the engine ran fine after that. Ever since, I always use the Ford/Motorcraft plugs, with a bit of copper based anti-seize compound in the threads, because it's such a long interval between plug changes, you don't want a stuck plug.

Did not receive appropriate plugs
I got 6 spark plugs. Four of them are the appropriate shorter plugs for a 2001 Ford escape. The other two were different part numbers in the spark plugs were physically longer. I contacted the Ford dealer and they told me those spark plugs are not even recommended for the escape because it could cause internal engine damage. I do not recommend
