Callaway Men's Big Bertha Alpha 815 Double Black Diamond Golf Driver

Disclaimer... For the past 10yrs I've exclusively hit taylormade woods and driver. I switched to the driver from the R15 for one reason only and that's for the shape and of the club. I absolutely love the smaller deeper face on this club. For me I feel like the smalle face makes me concentrate more than you standard wide 460 and the club is much heavier which to me keeps everything more fluid.Distance: This thing is super hott. I tuned it down to -1 degree so 8 degree loft and couldn't be happier with my ball flight. I have very high club head speed and have always been able to hit in excess of 300yrds with ease but this club has easily added 10 to 15yrds.Forgiveness: definitely a club you want to hit on the sweet spot, which I do most of the time. But when you don't hit the sweet spot the club will not hesitate in notifying you lol. It's not the worst but definitely a "players" club. I found the teeing it up lower than normal with this club really pays dividends.Feel: the weight of the driver matched with the 60G aldila shaft couldn't feel any better in my opinion. If you like a heavier club than its not for you. I'm a bigger guy so the heavy clubs helps my timing and sequence.I was apprehensive about switching from taylormade but I couldn't be anymore pleased with this driver. Personally I believe it's far more accurate than my R15 and much longer. Great club.

Got this driver about a month ago and I started off hitting it well and straight. Then I started slicing the ball not knowing how to adjust my swing. So I decided to switch the 1g and 5g heel/toe weights. I took off the heel weight with no problems. When I tried to take off the toe weight it was not seated in the threads properly and the threads were then stripped. I could tell when I was using the tool, it was tight to unscrew. Like I said I had never adjusted them before and the toe weight was not screwed in right. Unfortunately it is now unavailable and I don't think I can take it anywhere to have this issue fixed or even send it back for a replacement after a month of use. Not really happy about this but I guess I can deal with it for now.

I just started playing the game of Golf this past year. I have used a cheap driver. I was told by good players don't worry about getting a good driver, just learn how to hit the ball first. I finally ignored them and purchased this driver. Now I am not giving a professional review here, but as a beginner l hit a drive about 270 yrds with this club. I love the way it feels and sounds. My buddy is a much better golfer that I. He uses another major brand. He tried my driver...you should have seen his face. He wanted to ditch his driver after using this one. There are a million choices out there and the competition is fierce...but I don't regret this purchase.

I'm a horrible golfer and used a 1 fairway wood for years no realizing it wasn't an actual driver. It had a small head. I bought this club not realizing it's for better players. I bought it through amazon used from Callaway Preowned. I can hit this club consistent 250+yards straight. My buddies can't believe what a difference this club has made me drive. It must help higher handicaps like me hit very well. Great club. I'm happy how I hit this club.

I was very pleased with the driver, I wish I would have known that the grips were replaced.Other than that love it ,

I played one round of golf with it and the clubhead flew off on the 16th tee. I dont know what happened but it didn’t last long. I was not happy and their customer service was confusing. Wish they could have done something to repay me becuase i was without a driver while waiting for it to arrive. Then it broke and I was without a driver again.

This driver is absolutely obnoxious. I picked up an easy 10yds on miss' and 20+ on center square hits. The deep face is great for shot shaping. The flight is so penetrating I'm in amazement every time I catch one.
