Nexus 5 Case, Ringke [Fusion] Clear PC Back TPU Bumper w/Screen Protector [Drop Protection/Shock Absorption Technology][Attached Dust Cap] For Google Nexus 5 - Mint

Overall, this case is fine, with a few caveats. So first the good. The case snaps on and off very easily. The buttons seem nice and solid so far, and always seem to work fine. I like the fact that they're a little "clicky". All holes on the phone line up perfectly, as they should. I like the clear back which looks good with my Nexus 5 white. Now the bad. I got the clear/mint combo. I wish the clear was more of a frosted clear to mimic the back of the phone's soft-touch experience. This back is hard, slippery, clear plastic, which makes it feel awkward in your hands and is a huge fingerprint magnet. I also find that the mint color gets dirty like crazy. And it's not like I'm dropping my phone on the ground or something. The dirt tends to stick so that I need a bleach wipe to clean it up. These sorts of things annoy me, but if they don't annoy you, sounds like you've found yourself a case! I haven't dropped my phone much thus far...which I tend to do often, so I'll update once I do that.Update: My aux cable in my car does not fit unless I take the phone case off. Just another annoyance.

The description on this item is great so I'm not going to dwell on that part. The only reason why this item is getting a four star review is because it has begun to take on the color of the pockets/bags I put it in on the mint colored portion of the silicon. It isn't terribly ugly but noticeable and it bothers me. So if the color of your jeans ending up on your phone case doesn't both you, then this is the color and case for you.(Please note that I do like this case - the case does a great job. It just is that one little detail of my jeans rubbing onto the silicon that gets me. I may see about getting a color that won't show...or stop wearing jeans...)

I ordered this case for my new Sprint Nexus 5. As a Prime member through Amazon, I got the package right on time, as shipping is always perfect with Amazon. I love my new case, the Mint Green is exactly how its shown in the picture and the case is very nice and feels very durable and protective of my new phone.I thought that this case would be similar to an Otter Box, with a protective plastic face for screen protection, but the only thing that comes with this case is a screen protector that you stick on the screen. The screen protection feature is my only dislike for this product, but I think it will work out just fine.

I bought the Mint colored case thinking it would look good with the white skin I bought for my black Nexus. The fit ended up pretty tight - probably because of the skin. But it also caused weird suction-y marks on the clear plastic backing from the trapped air/moisture (maybe also because of the skin) that did not look aesthetically pleasing. I dealt with it, but later on the rubber edging ended up getting extremely dirty and stained from everyday wear. It probably only lasted me two months before it started to look shoddy.I'm not sure how well it works on a protective level. I have dropped my phone several times indoors but never outdoors and it didn't seem to have a problem. But from just the look and feel, I don't believe it protects the phone all that well, especially if you're a constant klutz.If you really want this, buy it in black. Any other color will look gross after a few weeks of wear.

I bought this case because I'm a big fan of the [matte mint] color. The case is the most slim I've used on my Nexus 5 and also the most comfortable, even with the rough seam. Either way, I think this case is a good way to add just a right amount of that color I like so much, while hopefully doing a pretty good job protecting my phone.The buttons feel great to press too.Compared to the Caseology TPU case, this case feels and looks much better. The TPU case feels like it's more protective in more situations, particularly if the device were to be dropped face first... though this is just my theoretical speculation since I'm not drop testing my device.

This is my second ringke case (I previously had the nexus 4) and I have been very pleased with them. They definitely protect the phone from minor drops and rise just enough above the screen to prevent scratches if the phone is placed face-down. As other reviewers have said, my only complaint is that the edges are a bit sharp, but that hasn't bothered me much at all. Do make sure to remove the protective film from the clear plastic back - there is one on each side and the one that faces the phone is a little hard to get off. The case does come with a transparent screen protector.

I was a little weary after reading some of the other reviews of this case but I took the chance because I was desperately needing a case for my new Nexus 5.And boy am I glad I did!! :)It follows the design of the phone PERFECTLY while being light weight and simultaneously providing great protection. I'm a naturally clumsy person ( I've already dropped my phone several times since the addition of the case) and everything has surpassed my expectations of such a thin case. Most people can't even tell I have a case on my phone :)I would not only buy one of these again but I would highly recommend it as well. The item is great and the shipping was extremely quick and I love the Eco- friendly packaging :) Also, the idea of customizing your phone with a photo cut out is an adorable idea to market as well.

It works nicely with my phone, good price, wish it were available in more colors, like pink! The power & sound buttons work easily and all the cord slots are in perfect place. Like that I can put my own photo or whatever on the back and can change it out.September: Had to buy another only because the mint gets dirty and I can't clean it, no matter what I tried. I bought black this time. But both cases fit perfectly, phone doesn't slide around and there is nothing sharp anywhere. It feels good in my hand and not slippery in any way. I have dropped it a couple of times because of my own stupidity, luckily on carpet, but seems to be protected pretty well. My son has dropped his on hard ground and nothing happened to his screen.I love this case!

The sides picked up the red from my red coat and I can't seem to wash it off, but that might be the fault of my coat more than the case. Everything else is just what I wanted. Love that I can change the back cover wherever I want. Not bulky or heavy but feels sturdy.

Besides the colored edge getting dirty fast, I am satisfied with it!! It's giving me good protecting and my phone looks good. I love it.

Hated it! Within a day the sides of the blue ended up looking super dirty. I tried everything to make it all nice and clean again but it looks like crap.

The cover is protective indeed, but it catches a lot of dust and gets really really dirty just after few days. It is very difficult to clean it up and for that you have to remove it time and time again. Ringke fusion covers are great but I would definitely avoid this one to buy a black or even grey one

Love this case! It was everything I hoped it to be! Shipping was fast and easy and It fits really snug to the phone so it doesn't feel big and bulky like other cases! I have dropped my phone 3 times so far with this case on and it still looks brand new! The only thing I don't like is how the back is clear. When I'm eating something greasy and I hold my phone, your finger prints will smudge on the back. But it's not a huge deal! It just makes me more inclined to clean my case more which is good :)
