Divan Bed Base Wrap Valance Sheet - Transforms a drab looking bed base - Luxury Faux Suede (Linen, Single)

This stretchy valance is very easy to put on and when it needs washing, is much easier to remove than a 'normal' valance which entails removing the mattress. Following a number of house moves, our bed base had become badly marked in places but this valance makes it look like new again. We think it's good value for money and are very pleased with it.

I have a fantastic divan bed but with a very outdated design which looks terrible with modern decor. Previously had traditional valances but they are a pain in the neck to maintain and still look old fashioned. Purchased this wrap and it looks so much better - my divan has a sprung base and the elasticity of the spandex means it does not interfere with compression. Only marked down a star as I feel the price is a bit excessive for a piece of fabric.

This fits like a glove! However, I would definitely advise that if the depth of your base is more than 32/33cm, do not buy as it won't cover from top to bottom. My base is 32cm in depth and it just covers the sides nicely and sits nicely where it should. I think its definitely overpriced for what it it but is does make my bed look soooo much better. My base is awful and discoloured so this has saved me having to go out and buy a whole new bed....so I guess it is a small price to pay at the end of the day.

This a great solution to upscale an old divan. So easy to fit and the fabric is great quality and the colour I chose was perfect. So why not 5 stars? Although it fits snuggly there are some areas where it sags and doesn't sit quite right. I've toyed with it and tried to rearrange but nothing works. However you can't really complain. It looks good, it's only when you glare up close that you can see the sagging. I'm conscious of just throwing stuff away in this age of environment awareness, so I'm happy with it. However if you are fussy and want your bed to look perfect I would recommend you buy a new divan.

Having put a lot of effort into making my new bedroom look great, the old bed divan underneath my new sheets was really bugging me. Dirty, flowery, old-fashioned, first-world problem of course but the bed was ruining the look of the room. This is a very nifty solution to the problem. It looks modern and the faux-suede texture of the fabric is lovely. It wasn't the easiest to fit on my own (the trials of being a small single female!) but once on it looks good. Only thing I would say is it doesn't really fit properly. I have a normal sized double bed (135x190cm) but this doesn't quite stretch to cover the whole thing. I've ended up leaving one corner off, which doesn't bother me as I can't see this corner behind the bedside table, but if you can see your whole bed it is too small. It is also only just deep enough to cover the whole depth of a normal sized bed divan. If I was ordering again I'd order a bigger size but I've just about managed to make it work for my room and am happy with the results.

The idea of the base wrap is good ! Unfortunately, the colours on offer aren’t suitable for my decor (cream,blue and white) so item (linen) was returned. Furthermore, even though I ordered a size larger (38cm)than my base (which is 32cm deep) there still wasn’t enough material for a good wrap around. The elastic was still visible between the base and the mattress. Provided the colours on offer are suitable for your decor, I would recommend this item but would suggest that you purchased a wrap which is substantially deeper than your base

This product would work if there is an adhesive of sorts to make sure the fabric stays on the base, especially far from the corners. Far from the corners, the fabric will tend to lift or come upwards to a curve as fabrics would tend to do unless put in place by a button, hook or some adhesive. Be wary of this when considering buying.

After moving house I wanted a more ‘neutral’ bedroom and I hated the grey bed we had! My bed as you can see isn’t a divan bed so I’ve been wondering whether to get this or not for a few weeks and decided it’s cheap enough so I’d give it a go! My bed is kingsize but because it isn’t a divan I measured it up and it’s a bit bigger than the kingsize measurements on here so I went for the super kingsize! As you can see it fits perfectly and I absolutely LOVE it!!! As there’s a fitted headboard on my bed I just put a few pins in to tuck it round at the corners but other than that it’s the perfect fit. I now need to make a DIY headboard cover to match haha (at the minute as you can see a makeshift white sheet will have to do)All in all I would highly recommend this product even if you don’t have a divan bed! Just make sure you measure your bed and then check them against their measurements :)
