They worked very well. Since I don't have a Lithium Ion charger I don't know how long to leave them charging. Most other batteries take 4 hours so that is what I did with these. My old charger shows error after about a half hour . Kept them going anyway. Next charge I will do it outdoors since I don't know if they will burn up.Power over the old batteries is like a Shelby Mustang against a Ford Taurus. Very nice result.Have used them only once so far so I don't know how long they last. The cost isn't much more than the old ones.

I bought these batteries as I only had one batt for the drill and that one was long in the tooth. I was able to charge them on the original charger that came with the drill and they took a charge. I don't use this drill much so I can't evaluate how long they will last only time will tell on that. That being said, the price was right to take a chance on them. And so far they work fine.

Neither battery in this 2 pack could be charged. They arrive partially charged, and testing them in a tool works. I have 2 Hitachi chargers. Both chargers gave the wiring fault flash and refused to charge either of the batteries. With no way to recharge the batteries I sent them back. Fortunately Amazon gave me a full refund. It is possible they can be charged on a Non-Hitachi brand charger, but I expect any replacement battery to be chargeable on the OEM charger.

I have an older set of Hitachi tools including a circular saw, recip saw, drill, and lanterns. These batteries last noticeable longer in the saws which drain my other batteries quickly. However, I've had these batteries fall out of the saws and drill. I compared them to my older, different brand, batteries and discovered the spring tabs you push in to release the battery is looser than my older batteries. Theses batteries haven't broken after being dropped about 3' onto concrete which says something about their durability.

One of the batteries has already failed two months into purchase. The other seems to be working so far. The charge light on the charger does not light, but battery still charges. I’m using the hitachi charger for the eb1820L batteries. When charged these do outperform the eb1820L batteries in power and tool operation time. Really hoping the other battery holds up, but not feeling too confident as of now.
