Easy to put together...and worked great with lots of pick up. Only thing is ruff uneven ground it does not pick up as well. But we will put a bit larger tire so it will do well again. And yes we would buy it again. It was worth it. It r releases easy also. We put a plastic tarp under it to collect the nails. Great!

I assembled the Toolwiz magnetic sweeper in just a few minutes using an adjustable crescent wrench. After having a new roof installed, I used it to pick up nails and other metal debris from rocks, mulch, grass, and concrete. In the grass, I found that slowly dragging the sweeper worked best. I would stop whenever I heard metal click onto the magnet and remove it before continuing. On concrete and in the mulch, the metal stayed securely attached to the magnet. Overall, it worked great and made cleanup much easier. I would definitely recommend it.

Easy to assemble, very useful . Only complaint is the adjustment needed for correct hight/gap to ground/floor could of been made more simpler vs using two wrenches. using it outdoors and on uneven terrain. Still like the product.

Goes together easily and works like a charm. Once you lift the lifting handle the magnets move upwards inside the tool and it drops all it picked up in nice neat piles. Works as expected, and it is height adjustable via the wheels. I think the push/pull handle is also adjustable but can't remember. Works for me (though this is a tool that sits in the corner most of the time and only comes out when needed).

We have a circa log barn with a lean-to built on it. We took some of the boards and roof off of it due to damage. I needed to be sure all of the old nails and wire was of of the ground so it was safe to walk around or run the lawn mower across. I bought this to help with that. The first pass I made I found 15 different pieces of metal, that could have punctured a mower tire or went through a tennis shoe sole. I ran the weed eater across the area and then made another pass. I found several other barn nails, roofing nails and old fence wire. This area covered about 20 feet by 12 feet all around the barn. This is wide enough that it took me about 10 swaths to cover it, overlapping each time. I figure it paid for itself about 4 times by saving $30-$40 per tire… and many many hours of headaches and mad fits!!! It is a KEEPER for anyone who lives in the country and has buildings or fences to maintain!! Even taking a farm tractor across the area would have been a nightmare!! I can’t imagine replacing a $900.00 tractor tire with a 3” barn nail in it!! THANK YOU FOR HAVING A DUSBLE PRODUCT, and it was so easy to put together.

I do some DIY welding and grinding at home so I get metal dust in my garage and in my driveway. This thing does a great job of picking it up. And it’s wide enough so I don’t have to make 50 passes with it to get the job done. If you just cut your grass, then you can take it through the grass and It’ll pick up metal but if it’s a bit overgrown and then it might have some trouble.

I had my shingle roof replaced and I thought I had walked around and picked up most of the nails! The roofers had a magnet on wheels they rolled around and told me it was safe to park on my concrete! After that I picked up all the nails I could see with my eyes ( probably 50-75 nails)... I was just messing around and didn’t even have this unit put together all the way and rolled it along my concrete pad and picked up 3 nails! I can’t believe how many nails I have picked up! Just roll it slow all the way lowered and listen for the nails to pick up! I recommend the smaller unit 24 inch for hilly terrain and grass/landscaping. The handle is not the sturdiest, but this isn’t a $100 piece of equipment! It’s made to pick up what you can’t see and it works VERY WELL! The picture of nails is about 1/2 of what I have picked up and I’m still not done! Just take your time and you will be happy you bought this!

I was upgrading from a little cheapo magnetic sweeper and thought this one would be amazing. Their packaging is horrible and looking at reviews has been that way for years so their company doesn’t provide good support or improve from customer feedback. First unit arrived where the extendable handle wouldn’t move because it was completely jammed inside the other tube. Next unit arrived with parts sticking out of package! Thankfully the extendable handle extended, but the problem with this unit is it doesn’t stay put. It wobbles all over even if I use a wrench to tighten. The first picture mentions for use on grass and that’s why I bought it. However, if you have a healthy lawn the grass just knocks everything off that the magnet attracts. I’d return this one but sadly it’s just a hassle and lately I’ve been having lots of problems with Amazon packages (wrong item/missing item/damaged items etc) and I worry if I make too many return requests Amazon won’t give free returns any more.. so I guess I hang onto this unit even though it’s poor quality and does not serve my purpose. If you want the unit for non grass use and are willing to figure out a way to fix the poor quality handle, the unit isn’t too bad which is why I give it 3 stars.

Used to clear our gravel driveway of potential hazards after a roofing job. It picked up stray screws and bits of metal roof cutoffs like a champ at 95% on the first pass.

Very effective. Picks up very well and the quick release allows you to dump all the pick up in a neat pile for disposal or sorting.

Great found so many screws that i couldn't see in horses new paddock.
