Great little novelty watch with "fireworks" display
I got my money's worth out of this Skmei 0890 novelty LED watch on the first day I owned it. What fun. The unique display of time and date quickly becomes easy to read, so I have found that it is actually a practical timepiece in addition to being a style accessory. BE WARNED that this vintage-style watch ONLY DISPLAYS WHEN YOU PUSH THE BUTTON. After several seconds the display goes dark again. I was disappointed by this at first, but only because I had imagined it otherwise. Construction quality is very high; the watch is solid and durable with smooth button function. Setting time and date is easy. The only real flaw in this nifty little device is that the LEDs are SUPER-bright in order to be readable in bright sun. This makes them, no kidding, painfully bright in anything less than outdoor sunlight. I have to be careful to aim the watch away from my eyes indoors to read it. I may have one of my techno-pals try to put a frosted Mylar insert underneath the crystal to tone down the intensity. But the fact that I would consider doing so just shows how much I enjoy this thing. The strings of LEDs light up in sequence like a quick little fireworks show when you hit the button, before settling down into the time display. I have had the watch for over a week now and it is still giving me a smile whenever I check the time. This is an over-the-top, style-for-style's-sake item, and I think that in that respect it goes great with my DeLorean. If you think you might like this watch, I bet you will love it.

so because I loved it so much
I was impressed by this watch and when it came, I was floored. I'm sacrificial by nature, so because I loved it so much, I gave it to my son and ordered another one for myself. I proceeded to order one for my niece, my God daughter, my grandson and a friend's grandson. It helps young ppl count, quickly. It's easy to figure out how to set it. It makes a statement of cool from across a room. It's water resistant. Most of all, who has one of these? No one! Absolutely love this thing!

I wanted him to use more math and this watch was perfect because it forces you to use math
I purchased three of these for my son; I wanted him to use more math and this watch was perfect because it forces you to use math! Turns out he loves it and was so excited to show his friends and teachers at school. Its definitely a cool watch for any age! Nicely made ... would definitely buy again. I may gift another one to his best friend.

Good idea, poor implementation
Let's start with the things done right: Style. This watch looks the part for the kinds of folks whom, like me, appreciate the style. Instructions: English is included. But then there's what you expected at the end of the day: a watch. Unfortunately, a watch that becomes useless at night, as each LED becomes blindingly bright as they run together, and you can't readily count them all; the printed numbers stay invisible. Basically useless on your wrist as the sun is going down/in a dimly lit room

Cool watch!
My son LOVES this watch. Not only is it really cool and unique, it works really well. The lights are bright (he actually uses it as a sort of flashlight in his room when he needs to find something in the dark of night) and clear. The only function he wishes it had is an alarm or stopwatch setting of some sort. Otherwise, it's a really cool gadget, especially for the great price!
