Danish Tutor: Grammar and Vocabulary Workbook (Learn Danish with Teach Yourself)

What I like about the Danish workbook is the fact that it is easy to follow for those who are fluent in Danish. It was fun little workbook.

Not a huge fan of the plentiful grammar terminology but useful nonetheless. It's a good addition to other learning resources for the intermediate learner. Clear layout and well structured.

As my headline says its a good book, but not for someone that start from 0 learning Danish, because the first page what teach you its pure grammar and if you still dont know the real base of the language like de abc and the rest of the stuff, i dont think would be a good start. This is sayed from someone who have no clue of Danish and bought it because read some reviews that says this book its good for absolute begginner. dont get me wrong its a good book, i check it out even if i dont understand anything, i think have a great structure, after learn what i should be learning for basic and reach A1 i gree on that would be a great start. But dont get me wrong everybody have they own way to learn, maybe this books as start isnt good, but i think that maybe can work for another people, so give it a try if you think can works with it and other materials like duolingo and stuff to learn. :D

Very detailed book. Heavy on grammar. More for the advanced beginner to intermediate Danish speaker. Worth the price. Danish language books are hard to find and this one is very thorough.

This book is not for beginners at all, it is thick material. It varies from A2 to B2. You can pretty much choose where to start from. My aim is to get to enough level to start reading it soon. So far, it looks like I will learn a lot. A great self gift, indeed. If you are familiar with materials for official language exams, it will not remind of a textbook. It feels like a teacher handing in some notes to help you out. I feel taken care of, honestly.

This book helped me a lot in improving my Danish skills. A must-have if you're serious about learning Danish.

This book is fantastic for learners of Danish. It gives very clear and useful explanations of grammar, has a ton of fun exercises that really do help you learn and is definitely value for money. It’s very similar to the grammar books I used at university to study Spanish and German. If you like to follow along the CEFR scale, it gives a brief description in each unit of what level you’re working at. My only personal issue with this book, is that this isn’t in order but it’s not an issue at all. It’s definitely not for beginners but you can start using it once you get confident with your skills and it is a fun challenge.

This is the best Danish grammar self-study book with exercises that I have come across. It is clear, concise and full of helpful advice. The vocabulary in the book goes beyond beginner level and adds phrases and expressions that are useful in everyday conversation. I wish the authors would write a follow-up book!
