Hosta Mixture (3 Pack)

Received these rather quickly and immediately soaked them in some water while I got their pots ready. I took 1 star off because I got 2 nice size Hosta roots and one that was super tiny, and super dead. I planted all 3, they were all white when they went into the soil but after about 4 days, beautiful green leaves on 2 of them started to unfurl. I have yet to see anything change with the tiny one but still tending to it in hopes it shows some life. I currently have them outside (I live in zone 9a) but it is starting to get super cold over night so far they are doing well but am contemplating putting inside my garage to make sure they don't freeze, although from what I've read they are pretty frost tolerant so we will see. I'll update with pictures as time goes on!

Still only one or 2 leaves and not growing big.

Two out of three arrived with some leaves ready to unfurl and get started, one was a bit scrawnier and I don't think it's dead yet but it's struggling to get started. Otherwise they're looking good! They get a little bit of sun in the evening and don't seem to mind but it's nice to finally have something in the front of the house where we get no sun 80% of the day.

Arrived on Saturday- each root bulb had small green shoots. Planted on Sunday (dug the holes, added the root bulbs, filled hole with water, soaked for 10-15 minutes, then filled in with dirt). Two days later, all three are growing! Very pleased. Will update after a few weeks to report on growth.

I was not aware that these were shipped bare root. That being said I planted them today after I receive them and I'm hopeful that they're all going to grow. My only criticism and the reason for the four-star rating was at the sizes were not consistent. I truly don't know if that means anything but I'll be looking to see if the smaller ones grow as well as the larger ones in the first year.

Received 3 plants: 1 was health on arrival, the other 2 not in such great shape. As of now the healthy 1 is thriving, 1 is just hanging on and one is dead. I am hoping I will be able to save the one that is doing poorly but I feel as though had I brought these at a garden center I would have done much better, plant wise and price wise.

3 lovely green live plants arrived today. No idea what kind of hostas they are, but I don’t care. They were well packed with plenty of moisture in the bag. Soaked and already planted. I’m looking forward to them thriving. Yes they are bare root, but I have no problem what so ever about that. They always root well and grow. Hostas are the bomb.
