I have tried several brands of water shoes for my kids, and I am by far happiest with this one. This surprised me, because these appeared rather cheap and foreign-made, but we really love them. My kid is happy to put them on, they go on easily, and are comfortable enough that he will leave them on even when not playing in water. No blisters or sore spots. He wears them on jagged park wood chips, and they don't stick into the sole or poke his feet at all (which I thought they might due to the holes, or just due to the thin flexible soles b/c I've had that happen with cheap flip flops). Still, they are lightweight and flexible, and drain water really effectively. Because of the drainage system, they also amazingly don't collect sand inside - HUGE difference when my two kids play at the beach, the old shoes I am constantly banging out piles of sand, whereas these shoes have virtually no sand at all. Having so many fun colors to choose from is a bonus to get the kids excited about them. I already have the next size up in my cart so I can be ready for growing feet!

I bought these for my 6 year old to wear while walking in the river that has slick river rocks and they work great so far. He has worn them a few times over the last week and he loves them because he doesn't slip, or get rocks in his shoes. This is the first pair of water shoes that he hasn't complained about scraping or rubbing near his ankle bones. He always got blisters from other kinds, but these have been good so far. The soles are flexible and the upper part is stretchy with a pattern that makes him feel cool. They fit true to size, my son is between a 12 and 13 and the 13 fit well with a little bit of room to grow, but not enough to trip on.

This shoe had potential to be a good water shoe. It has nice openings on the bottom that would allow the water to drain and the Velcro across the top would allow for a nice snug fit if the shoe is slightly large. The problem is that these shoes are in European sizing which I find to always seem to run small. The opening on these shoes was also particularly snug and they were difficult to get on my sons foot when it was dry. I can't imagine trying to get on him if his foot was wet after swimming. The next size up might have been easier to get on, but I was afraid that it would simply be too big and his foot would slide around.

I bought these for my 11 year old. Originally I had bought little ones for my toddler and loved how they worked as inside shoes instead of water shoes. I decided to try them on my preteen and he absolutely loves them! For someone who doesn’t like to wear house shoes or even walk around in socks he keeps these on all the time for the level of comfort. I’m always afraid they’re going to step on toys or something broken and hurt their feet. These water shoes motivate them to keep their feet covered. Highly recommend

Used by 6yo grandson for swim lessons, trips to the pool, and for cruises.Purchased a 1/2 size larger ... he has ample room without being too large or loose on his foot. Should last through the summer provided he does not go through another growth spurt. This is his second pair over 2 summers. Good quality and comfortable. Easy for him to put on and take off. I personally like the way they look.

I bought these for both my kids and both kids hate them. They seem alittle big, even though I ordered the correct sizes. Both my kids complained of cuts on their bottoms of their feet when they wore these. For water shoes they should be a bit tighter just because they get wet and kids could get hurt. They seemed to get them on fine but I noticed they seemed a bit stretched in the foot with wise. I ended up purchasing different pair from Amazon which they like. But kinda upset because I thought these would have been great. Price was good.. anyways maybe they just were not for us.

I got a pair for my daughter to use at the pool and at school on splash days. She really likes these. They are easy to put on and take off and comfortable. The velcro keeps them snug when needed. The soles are super flexible and hav holes that allow the water to exit the shoe from the bottom. I think that also helps them to dry faster too. I'll get another pair for my son next year when his current water shoes get too small. The color options are great too! Great gifts for nieces and nephews!

Excellent shoes. The sole is thick enough to walk over rocks and the material dries writhin a night. The material breathes but is woven tight enough to keep most sand out. The adjustable straps help with fit. My daughter has narrow feet and these were a great fit; something very difficult for her to achieve. I can truly recommend.
