Original OEM Samsung 1800 mAh Spare Replacement Li-ion Battery for Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch D710. Samsung uses the latest Lithium Ion battery technology giving you the best performance possible. Full battery performance is achieved only after 2-3 charging and discharging cycles have been completed. It is recommended to fully drain and fully charge the battery especially during the first 3 charging and discharging cycles, doing so may greatly improve the overall life of the battery

Value for my price
The batteries last for an exceptionally long time and we couldn’t have gotten a better deal anywhere else!

Apparently this is a bad thing for my old
I used to over-charge my Samsung Galaxy S2, leaving it plugged in to charge overnight and whenever I could in general. Apparently this is a bad thing for my old, original battery. My phone would not stay on due to a dead battery and, when plugged in, would say the battery was fully charged (although the phone would not turn on when plugged in).I ordered this new battery via standard 5-day shipping (free shipping), and it only arrived in 2 days! Hooray. This new battery fixed my phones issue (after confirming the battery was the issue in my cell phone carrier's store). However, my phone no longer carries a charge for very long. The battery delivered had no charge (this was fine). After putting in this new battery and plugging in my phone, the battery charged just fine. My phone was able to be turned on in a couple minutes after getting some minimal charge level; It would not turn on right away, without letting the battery charge for a bit.I am providing this background because I do not know if this is due to this product, my phone, or maybe I did something wrong initially by not letting the battery fully charge before turning my phone on.I am blaming my phone for the low battery performance, but I still haven't had a perfect experience, thus 4 stars.

The batteries have been working well for 2 weeks, just not sure they are OEM due to physical discrepancies.
We purchased two batteries which replaced the original OEM batteries in two Galaxy S2 phones we purchased 1.5+ years ago. The original batteries started draining faster than normal and showing inconsistent battery percentages when rebooting the phones (e.g. going from 75% down to 48% back up to 74% after a several reboots). The new batteries are lasting up to a day with regular use and could last over a day with minimal use. I made sure to follow the sellers recommended procedure to charge the batteries to 100% and drain to 0% 3 times for each new battery.I had an initial concern at first when comparing the new batteries to the original OEM ones. One of the new batteries was slightly thinner than the OEM battery and the other new battery was slightly thicker. The thicker battery was a very tight fit and caused the back cover of the phone to barely snapped back into place. The label on the new battery looks smudged/fuzzy compared to the more crisp print on the original OEM labels and the thickness variance makes me wonder if they are indeed OEM. However, I'm content since they are holding their charge as expected with respect for the cost.

Restored battery life to normal
Note: I have given this battery five stars because it is exactly what it advertises. If you need to buy this battery, you already have the GS2, and your battery options are limited. In no way am I attempting to say that this battery will exceed your expectations. It's simply a replacement for the stock GS2 battery.I have had my GS2 (Sprint variant) for about 20 months, and this is the second replacement battery I have purchased. My office has a terrible Sprint signal, so my phone is constantly searching for a signal, draining battery life and creating far more heat than would be typical. In general, I have to charge twice daily (once in the middle of the day, and once at night), and that has been the case since day one with the battery that originally came with the phone. These replacement batteries should do the trick just fine to restore your battery life to where it was the day you bought the phone. If you can tell your phone isn't holding juice like it used to, chances are you could use a new battery. A quick and easy way to determine if you need a new battery is to pop your current battery out of the phone, place it on a flat, smooth surface (ie, tabletop), and try to spin it. If it turns multiple times with very little resistance, your battery has swollen, indicating it should be replaced.

Just as good as Sprint's
This battery is exactly the same as the one it was replacing. It fits my Galaxy S II phone perfectly. After charging overnight, my phone was back to acting normal again. The battery stayed charged for a long time between charges also. I haven't had any issues with this battery and am very happy with it's performance.I had gone to Sprint (the Thursday before Memorial Day) to see what was wrong with my phone that kept dying every few minutes. They told me that I had a "swollen" battery which meant it was bad. They told me that I could buy a new one but it only came with the charger pack and cost $55, plus it had to be ordered. I asked if I could buy it anywhere else and was told "No." but if I ordered then, it should arrive the next day. So I ordered it. After a week, the battery still hadn't arrived so I cancelled my order. I got online and saw that this battery was available for a 1/3 cost of what Sprint charged me. So far it has worked just as good as the first one that I purchased from Sprint.

Not as good as i was hoping
I got this battery a couple months ago as a replacement battery because my Samsung galaxy s2 somehow fried my other battery overnight. When i got the battery first thing i did was check the battery life, i did this by charging it fully and then disconnecting the charger and using it normally it was down below %5 in a little under 6 hours which was substantially less than my previous battery. I also noticed that with this battery my phone was getting extremely hot when performing basic tasks like calling or taking a video, also something the battery that came with the device didn't do. I wasn't sure if it was my phone or the battery that was the problem so i ordered a replacement directly from Samsung and i can definitely say that it was the battery so this one is now just a replacement. Overall this product is not as good as i had hoped it would be, but, it does work so im giving it three stars. i would recommend this to someone looking for am emergency backup battery but if you're looking for a replacement i would just spend the small amount of extra cash and go through Samsung themselves.
