Only good for season
Theses kingfisher labels are rather brittle and the writing area is smooth. Dry erase markers will not work on them as it just washes off in the rain or wipes off when you touch them. You could use pencil and erase, but I enjoy the bold color of marker. I ended up using permanent marker on these to label my plants. The labels are a one time use for me. I don't care for using permanent marker, because when I make a mistake, such as writing the wrong planting date, I can't easily correct it and the label looks messy. I'll look for another label in the future.

They're good little tags for keeping things in order
What can I say? They're tags! I've noticed that some of these don't hold sharpie ink when used outdoors. It just washes away with rain. Can't say if these particular ones do or don't, but personally to get around that, I use a paint marker to mark things. That way I know my marks stay permanent. They will work nicely. These are the size advertised in the description, came in the delivery window, and look to be the correct quantity. The price was fantastic for the quantity. Not sure what else to say. Hope this is helpful for someone!

Great tags, but need something other than regular strength sharpie for labeling.
These plant labels are working well so far. They are fine in the Texas heat, and they have enough room for the relevant information. Regular sharpie does wear off after a while, especially if they are outside in the heat, or under sprinklers. I’m currently giving industrial strength Sharpie a try, since it stays so much better on everything else. If that doesn’t work then I will try something else and update.

Perfect thin plastic markers for seed starting/seedling labels
These are standard, thin, plant labels. I used a Sharpie permanent marker to write on them (black). After about 2 months outside, the sun and rain lightened the writing so I had to re-write the label. Labels themselves were fine. These are meant for labeling starting plants, seedlings. These are not meant to be permanent markers. They work great for their intended use.

Flimsy
These markers are okay for use in the nursery but are flimsy for outdoor use. They are about the thickness of a yogurt or cottage cheese container. They will not last in an outdoor sunny area.

Sturdy
Better than other brands I have tried

Doesn’t
I used half of these before I realized that water washed off everything I wrote...even permanent markers. I guess this is why they were so inexpensive.

No streak plastic
When I use a sharpie to write on it the ink doesn't streak.
