Modhaus Living Mid Century Modern Tulip Style Oval 78'' x 47'' Carrara Marble Dining Table - Includes Modhaus Living (R) Pen

Prior to this purchase, I did some research online and one of the main complaints (of other vendors) is damage to the big and heavy marble top. So I was a little hesitant to make this big purchase. I'm sure glad I did though. My fears were put to rest when I saw how securely the table was crated. It comes in two wood crates, one for the aluminium base and the other for the marble top, both wrapped and tied to a wood pallet. In fact, it was so well crated, it took my husband >30 mins to unbox them. Shipping was fast and curbside delivery, in my case into the garage, was above expectation. There were quite a few big pieces of wood packaging material, including the wood pallet for recycling/disposal. If debris removal is going to be an issue, it might be a good idea to pay extra for this service.Assembly was simple with only 6 screws to fiddle with. We assembled the base first then flipped the table over. This was probably the toughest part as it weighs over 350 lbs. Once assembled, the table is very stable with no wobbling (I do have a rug under it). This table comfortably sits 8 persons. There are a few tiny nicks on the surface of the marble top, which is not noticeable unless you look for them at an angle. It is natural stone after all and minuscule imperfections are unavoidable and in no way mars the beauty of the marble. Overall, it is a beautiful table that will surely take your breath away!

A great table! No flaws, smooth and stable. Received in about a week in a very well crated packaged. The only downside is you are left two wooden shipping boxes (the bigger one includes a 1/2" x 4' x 8' plywood board) and a shipping pallet to deal with. That would be a plus side if you like free wood for your workshop :)

One of a kind mid century modern icon made from a beautifully crafted Carrera marble. It is a rare find and we feel almost privileged to have this piece at our home. Very well packaged as it is a very heavy but delicate material. Need help to carry it but all of that is well worth having this table. Arrived on time, no flaws, much better then described,

Great quality and very well protected for shipment. The marble looks very nice and is quite heavy. Please take that into account for taking it inside home and assemble.

The table is great! We looked and looked for a good knock off table, and this fit the bill. The top is real marble, and the base is painted aluminum. This table is HEAVY. Make sure you know exactly where you want it to go in the dining room because it is not moving once it is set. It arrived before Amazon's projected delivery date. Our delivery guy was able to put it into our garage with a pallet jack. It comes on a large pallet from the shipper. It was well crated and strapped down to the pallet. We also purchased Amazon's install, but read the fine print and soon realized that the installer was not going to move the very heavy table parts into the dining room from the garage. We canceled the assembly, and got 4 of our biggest and strongest friends over to help us move it and assemble it. The shipping label said the who thing weighed over 450 pounds. I would suggest you hire a furniture moving crew if you don't have friends who owed us favors like we did.
