The design of this case is 5 stars, IMHO, except for one aspect: the little "metal" arms that the band loops through is not in fact metal. I don't know what material it is but this is my 3rd or 4th Incase armband and the reason why I've gone through them so frequently is because those little "metal" arms that the band goes through are made of some CHEAP, LOW QUALITY material and they BREAK after a certain period of time. I use my armband normally 5 days a week so it does get a lot of use. I like the design because I like having access to my screen and I really like being able to take the phone off my arm so easily. I suspect Incase uses such a cheap material for the little arms so that they will break and so that you will have to order a new one. I may still prefer the previous iphone 3 and iphone 4 arm bands, but there really isn't a better option for the iphone 5. Stable on your arm, relatively easy to slide the phone off the arm band (good if you frequently get disrupted on your run with texts/calls), and sits just slightly off your arm keeping your phone free from sweat. For some reason I have difficulties reattaching the phone to the arm band without stopping to look at what I'm doing. Relatively easy to get the phone in and out of the case.

I like the concept of this, but I have some issues with it:1. It's too easy to accidentally knock the phone out of its holder.2. The armband has almost no elasticity, so you have to put it on REALLY tight to get it to stay in place and constantly futz with the Velcro.3. The clip is useless for anything but the armband; maybe it's not a fair criticism, but I was really hoping the clip could be used in other ways, such as clipping the phone to my waistband or pocket.4. It would be nice if the phone could swivel once mounted on the armband so that it's easier to use.I wish I had gone with a different case.

After doing a lot of research, I found that this was the only product for me. Sometimes it is hard to get the case to slide into its holder if you have it on your biceps and your shoulder sticks out pretty far (not necessarily a product defect, just a bad angle)

I only hope that there will be the same band for iPhone 6. This is the best band I have ever tried. It is big enough for my arms (I workout and have big arms). It doesn't jiggle when I run. You can detach the phone from the band so that you can operate it easily. The face is open so that you are not trying to see through a clouded piece of plastic. One of the best products I bought on Amazon.

I was pleased with the case and the ease with which I could remove it from the strap however the strap is poorly designed and does not allow you to adequately tighten it around your arm. As a result I am now not using the strap and just use the clip case.

best case/band combo for the iphone hands down. i waited a long time for the iphone 5 version no less. by the way, i leave the case on at all times. the clip barely adds any bulk, and i find it handy for clipping to my pocket (i carry my phone in my pocket and hang the clip out if at all concerned about the phone falling out of loose clothes or whatever).

Works perfectly for running. Enclosed cases collect moisture and it hard to use the other phones features. Not the case with this.

compared to the iPhone 4 model - the metal snapped off after wearing it for 6 months...
