Can't go wrong at this price so I'll just say they are handy to have some of these around when you mislay the manufacturer's more expensive all round rubber hot she covers. Which I do a lot. They could save an expensive repair.

Hey look, it does the job admirably and you get two of them, so all good, but >£5 for what is essentially two small pieces of injection-moulded plastic (think Airfix model kit stylee) is a bit steep!

Purchased this to protect the hotshoe mount on my D610.Quality wise it looks and feels identical to what Nikon would provide you. It takes about the same amount of force to put it on, and take it off as the original. (I am comparing this with the hotshoe cover that hasn't gone missing from my D5300)I'm sure with plenty of use, it will end up going missing. Just like the original did. Bonus is, there's 2 in the pack!
