Bemis Steadfast 3" Raised Toilet Seat with Open-Front, Hinges that Never Loosen, Elongated

Hurt my knee and bought this to raise toilet a bit. Already had a chair height elongated toilet, but the few inches more helped. Easy to install or uninstall. Was a little disappointed that the fit was not seamless, but it has worked well, stayed clean, no fuss no mess for female user. Suggest you measure your toilet carefully regarding fit. In my case the gap has not been a problem. It’s bigger than a standard seat, but much nicer looking than what my Mom had.

My first raised toilet seat came highly recommended. It cracked within a month, was replaced, cracked gain, was replaced, cracked a third time, didn't bother to have it replaced. It was hard to install and impossible to clean. This Bemis was easy to install, easy to clean and high quality. Be sure to watch their video. I am 5'3" so it is the perfect height for me, but I doubt if any of these raised toilet seats would work for a tall person.So far, I have not had any of the issues some reviewers had with urine not staying in the bowl. This raised toilet seat is amazing.

I had tried 3 different toilet seat risers for one of my patients. They did not like any of the due to inability to clean easily, flimsy construction , too small for toilet.Then I tried this one. It cost about double but was definitely worth the price difference.The first thing you notice when you take it out of the box is that it just has a much more solid build, then the other ones.It installs on the toilet very securely and can easily be cleaned.Also note that most toilet seat risers have a weight limit of about three hundred pounds, but this one has a weight limit of over a thousand so if you're using it for someone heavier, this is the one! However, even if you're not using it for someone heavier than 300 pounds, it's just a much better product. Then some of the cheaper, less expensive toilet risers.

The riser fits well, very secure and stable, and it's an easy install even temporary. The riser has a funnel shape so even messy toilets are easy to clean up. It can be fitted with optional brace handles, but doesn't need them for most uses. The manufacturer has tried their best to fit both oval and round toilets, but measuring is essential. They offer both shapes with or without support handles.Please be aware that the riser is going to need clearance when folded back, so it fits against the toilet tank. If you have anything like a shelf or rack in front of the tank, it will not fold back properly, but can be secured in the "up" position with some care.

The lid fit perfectly. It is stable and can hold a good amount of weight. Perfect for post surgery patients. Wish it came with the handles instead of separate.

This toilet seat riser is absolutely wonderful. It has lid you can close, which was important because I have a cat that still like to dip his paw in the toilet! It's just the right height for my bad knees.Easy to get up from. Still able to use my bidet with it, as some other types wouldn't work. It's just right size for a bigger butt. Easy to install too.Only con is I'm not sure how long it will last me because I'm bigger gal but I'm hopeful.I just love it.

We purchased two of these to help an older family member suffering with some mobility issues. The additional height helps tremendously in sitting and rising, and the design is sanitary and fairly easy to clean. Appreciate the slow-closing lid as well. Good value and quality with no tools required for installation (after previous seat is removed).

I recently moved into a new place with what I call "toddler sized" toilets. It is very difficult for me to get up from very low seats. I researched seat risers for a couple of weeks before deciding to invest in this seat. It is absolutely one the BEST purchases I have made on Amazon. The fit is perfect for my elongated toilet. Super easy to install. Extremely sturdy. Would highly recommend to anyone with mobility issues or difficulty standing from a low toilet seat.

Speedily shipped, this toilet seat lifter was exactly as described. It fits the toilet perfectly without wobble, allows me to clean the toilet thoroughly. It was especially convenient that the toilet came with a box wrench that permitted me to tighten the nuts in that awkward spot under the toilet seat near the toilet tank.It's expensive, but we have experience with rental seats that do not work nearly as well and do not support thorough cleaning without completely dismantling the installation.Because the seat is in effect on firm stilts over the toilet bowl, you'll need to get used to new sounds!
