Excellent Coverage and Reliable Primer
It covered stains effectively, went on smoothly, and provided a solid base for paint. Easy to apply and dried nicely without strong odor issues. Great for touch-ups or smaller jobs when you need dependable coverage and good adhesion. Would definitely buy again.

Great product / no protection for product shipping by Amazon
I used this on my 77 Ford F150. The area under and around the wipers and the slots for air are galvanized and very hard to keep automotive paint on the areas. The Bulls eye seems to be working so far but it time will tell once the Texas sun starts baking it! Note: some moron shipped this can in a bag, not a box, just an Amazon paper envelope, a bag! It came with tape over the top of the can on on to the sides of the can over all the information. So of course, when removing the tape, the instructions were also removed. The top of the can was also dented. There a metal "keepers for can tops, obviously Amazon and the Bulls Eye company need to apply them to the product. Not sure who is to blame for shipping just the can unprotected ... Amazon shipping or the Bulls Eye company but I am leaning toward Amazon shipping. Amazon does not leave the opportunity to comment on issues with shipping and the option of exchanging the damaged can for an undamaged can (damaged can is hard to re-seal) correctly from the dent) was not even an option. see red arrow of galvanized area. Hope this helps

Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Primer: The One You Reach For Every Time
I've used a lot of primers over the years and this one just keeps ending up back in my hand. It's water-based, so cleanup is easy and the smell is minimal, which matters a lot when you're working inside or in a tight space. It goes on smooth, covers well in one or two coats, and dries fast enough that you're not sitting around waiting to move to the next step. What I really appreciate is the coverage on problem surfaces. If you've got stains, discoloration, or walls that just look rough, this stuff handles it without complaint. It's thick enough to actually do something but not so heavy that it fights you on the brush or roller. The consistency is consistent, which sounds basic but isn't always true with cheaper primers. The quart size is the right call for smaller DIY projects. It goes further than you'd expect, and you'll likely have some left over. If you want a really clean finish for your topcoat, a quick pass with 220 grit before you paint makes a noticeable difference, though it's by no means required. No complaints worth raising. It does exactly what a primer should do, doesn't fight you, and doesn't cost a fortune. For the price and performance, it's hard to argue with. I'd stock a couple of these before any paint project.

Great product to cover imperfections
Works so well!!! Covered up the spots left over by wallpaper removal after I used guardz problem surface. You would never tell I messed up the walls so bad. Only thing is that it’s thick so it runs out quicker than I’d like for the price but don’t mind paying for a product that works. You can’t hit it multiple times in the same spot once it starts to dry or it will clump but that’s because it is an adhesive.

I needed 2 coats
I used this to prime a wood entry door that had mahogany stain, i.e., it was a very dark brown. The door had a polyurethane coat on it so I sanded it down before using this primer. It went on OK. It's thick enough that it spreads easily but it's not like trying to paint with toothpaste. My door has 18 recessed panels so there was plenty of opportunity for dripping to settle in the corners but I didn't have any problems in that regard. It did dry in about 1 hour but I didn't get very good coverage or hiding on the first coat so I was happy with the quick drying time because I had to do another coat. Note, this might be at least partially because I didn't load up the brush because of all the recessed panels. The second coat went on much faster than the first coat. Overall, very happy with this primer.

If it gets on something get it off of the floor or whatever the item is real quick cause it
Excellent primer for your deck I find it to be better than the kilts . seems to cover anything, although it’s not recommended for the floorboards of the deck. I think it would work though not sure why.

Best bonding primer
The application goes on very smoothly. It is not too thick and has overall good quality and consistency. It is very affordable and you get a good value for the money. I have not tried spraying it yet, but I will on my next project. It does brush on very well and has amazing coverage. Overall, really good primer.
