RONXS 3 in 1 Candle Wick Trimmer Set, Snuffer, Dipper, Cutter, Black

This item arrived safe and well packaged. This is an essential kit for any candle users. I guess the idea of a candle kit is quite old fashioned, but this set really helps to modernise this and bring it bang up to date! The matte black colour and styling are fantastic. It's a great kit that every candle user should really have. I know for sure that candles can be incredibly infuriating when they don't play ball. Wicks can get out of control - either too long, too short, or just in the wrong place. The sharp long nosed scissors and long tweezers give you access to alter that, putting life back into and candle. The snuffer also works beautifully too. This really saves the struggle of blowing liquid wax all over the place when blowing out a candle. This is quick and efficient, reducing mess and taking all risk away. This would also make a really nice looking gift for someone too. I highly recommend this product.

Great quality

After my Yankee Candle branded wick trimmer broke after ten years of usage, as an avid candle user, it's commonly known that to get the best life and performance out of any candle is proper maintenance to avoid tunnelling, minimising flickering, clean flames, and maximise fragrance. I considered repurchasing the same that served me well for years. This listing included another item I would use for the same price as replacing my previous trimmer only; it made sense. That said, I was initially concerned as there aren’t any dimensions in terms of length which for me is vital as I primarily use large candles, and at least with my previous brand, I knew it would be suitable. At the time of my purchase, no other recent reviews mentioned the measurements of all items and only the packing size that was available within the description, which isn’t reliant information on the size of the contents. I purchased it still in the hope it would be appropriate. A contributing factor was also the mass amount of reviews. I separate my reviews into segments for ease of reading, pro, med, con and conclusion, to allow you to focus on which areas you are most interested in and in detail and try to answer any questions I had myself before purchasing. Pro: ____ * It’s a bargain at £14.99 (At the time of my purchase) for a three-piece set, considering my previous single-item trimmer was the same price. After looking for a dipper and trimmer separately, it was more expensive to do so. This purchase is more of value to me as I don’t own a designated wick dipper. Instead, I used a metal skewer as this was long enough to reach the depth of a large-size Yankee Candle, using the loop to push the wick to extinguish and pull back into position without soot whilst recoating for the next burn and keeping my hands clear of the risk of burning. If you intend to use all three items, it’s excellent value—even using two like myself. * As all are stainless steel, the two accessories I have currently used are effortless to clean and with no soot build-up that hasn’t been able to be removed with a simple wipe and soap. * While I can’t guarantee this trimmer cuts precisely, leaving 1/8 of an inch as my previous one did (the recommended length to avoid tunnelling that can occur due to snipping too short that can create too small of a flame), what I can say with my use is I haven’t experienced tunnelling or excessive flickering and the flame big enough to pool wax to the edge, so it’s working well. I do use an Illuma-lid (candle topper to steady the candle flame) as this also helps to maximise overall burn time. Med: ____ * While it’s an excellent addition for others, I won’t use the bell extinguisher regularly unless I use tea lights that I use for oil burners as the flame and soot production after is less. In my experience, using a snuffer produces just as much soot as when blown out, as it becomes temporarily trapped and released on lifting. I prefer to dip wicks into the wax pool as, for me is more effective and eliminates soot as well as preparing the wick for the next burn, just because it isn’t my preference to use. That doesn’t mean it’s not to others that may wish to and be of more value. * The product description doesn’t state the measurements of the contents, only the measurement of the packing, which isn’t helpful. I can confirm each of the items is as follows: - Trimmer 7.00” - Wick Dipper 8.00” - Snuffer 8.00” Con: ____ * As a test, I attempted to cut a wooden wick, which didn’t work well, struggling to cut them cleanly and evenly; instead, it tore. I do have to say my Yankee branded cut wood wicks with ease and cleanly. Therefore if you plan to use it solely for this type of wick, unfortunately, in my experience, doing so isn't ideal. Alternatively, nail clippers work better. * The two items I have continually used (trimmer, dipper) are a decent length. A large Yankee Candle measures 6.6” in height. There is a 0.5” difference between this trimmer and my previous one. While it reaches the base, this less 0.5 limits the angle at which the wick can be cut to the same level continuously as you get closer to the final few inches of wax remaining due to not being able to angle more, with smaller jars, of course, you won’t have this limitation. * The trimmer is stiff to open and close, as both cutting surfaces are tight and low. Even with extended use, it hasn’t loosened off, and I cannot see it doing so anytime soon due to this tightness. My previous Yankee brand was effortless with both, from new to years of use. Unfortunately, those with dexterity limitations or strength in the hand/fingers may struggle to clamp together with this one. This flaw is the only item that decreases the set's overall quality. Conclusion: ____ Overall, I’m glad I decided to purchase this set instead of my previous one due to the additional item I would use for the price without spending more money overall. Trainers are simple items, but this serves its purpose just like my last, with the added benefit of the dipper. I have taken into consideration the stiffness as well the inability to cut wooden wicks effectively; however, “I” don’t plan on snipping wooden wicks myself as I no longer have my Yankee brand that was able to trim all wicks material with ease, I therefore still resort to using clippers, the primary issue lays with the excessive stiffness of the trimmer justifies removal of a star.

Received as a Christmas present. The items arrived in a damaged box. They're very bulky, I've only used the candle cutter which done the job but needs cleaned after every use, It would've been handy if they came with a hanger, and instructions - as I've never heard of, or know how to use a candle wick dipper! I find this item too big and awkward for daily household candles.

Ces ustensiles pour bougies est bien et très fonctionnel. Comme je fais mes bougies à la cire d'abeilles qui préviendra de mon rucher., dans des moules divers en sillicone. Ils seront parfait pour éteindre et couper la mèche à la hauteur, qu'il faut. La finition noire est extraordinaire et bien faite. Très content de mon achat.

Schön, praktisch und für teure Kerzen ein Muss. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
