I have the DS415play and it works great.
Purchased this as a replacement for the factory one that failed. It works and is half the price of the one from Synology. I have the DS415play and it works great. It's been a week and so far it's awesome and my NAS is back up and running. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to replaced the factory CWT power supply.

Works as advertised!
I purchased a used Synology DS414 without the stock power adapter. Contacted Synology support for an OEM power adapter - $72 (without shipping). Decided to take a gamble a go with this for about half the price.My Synology DS414 has been working with out any power issues for 1 week so far! If I come across any issues I will report back.Edit: 5/28/2017 - This adapter is still up running running well!

Powers down randomly
Doesn't work properly on a ds412. My unit powers down randomly.

Works perfectly for my Synology DiskStation
Got my Synology DiskStation back up and running with this adapter. Mine came with a standard round size AC Barrel plug with a 4-pin adapter attached to match the diskstation power input. May have been cheaper to buy the 4 pin adapter vs buying this model. Adapter was a bit loose too, it appears they tried to use some heat shrink tubing to keep it securely attached but I ended up having to reconnect mine while unboxing in order to get it to work.
