Q: Do the orchids arrive exactly as photographed? Or do I need to order in advance and allow time for orchids to bloom in time for my event?

I recommend ordering no more than 3 to 4 days in advance as they arrive very quickly already fully bloomed. I will say though that they are more of a violet color compared to the dark cobalt blue shown in the picture.

Q: I am very interested in these orchids but could you tell me if they are "Blue Bom" or just "blue" dendrobiums?

I actually don't know much about flowers. The vendor could probably better answer your question.

The flowers that I ordered and had delivered (back in May of this year) looked very much like those in the photograph. I specifically purchased the flowers to make a boutonniere, corsage, and flower accessories for my daughter's prom night -- I did not use the stalks in flower arrangements. The flowers arrived the day before the event, and the leftover stalks (kept in water) lasted about a week.

I would say about 10 to 12 blooms on average stem
