We used our coffee pot with a permanent filter for years....no problem. Suddenly my husband started putting cinnamon in the coffee before perking. After a short time, we noticed coffee grinds in the coffee. Replaced the filter, same thing. I decided to look for one that wasn't cloth mesh and found this one. It works wonderfully. It's easy to clean out if I forget it, it looks great but more importantly, no more coffee grinds in my coffee.

Quality made stainless steel filter basket. Our paper filters were collapsing often in our Mr. Coffee coffee maker. Using this filter basket reduced the occurrence of collapsed filters and keeps any renegade coffee grounds from getting to the pot. Can be used without paper filters should you choose. Highly recommend.

This works like a charm. It is slightly smaller in diameter and taller than paper filters. We had been experiencing issues with grounds going over the top of the paper filter, landing in the coffee pot. This filter eliminated the issue and produces good coffee. The filter, while seemingly dishwasher safe, must be emptied, a considerably more laborious task than simply ditching a paper filter. Life is full of trade offs.

I bought a new coffee and it comes with cone filter that is made with cheap plastic between meshes. Those plastic got so soft after making coffee so that I decided not to use them. I search around and found this is the one that can fit the large size of my coffee maker. It Works great and no plastics!

I love this new reusable coffee filter. It doesn’t let any coffee get through and it doesn’t leave any paper taste because it’s not paper saves money on coffee filters as well and dishwasher safe.

Realizing that my review is for a completely different purpose than the usual, I hope you'll take it with a grain of salt. But I wanted to put this here in case anyone else is trying to do the same thing.I recently realized that my Clever Dripper, which I no longer use for coffee, is absolutely perfect for making tea. But after several batches I found that the paper taste from the filter is much more noticeable with tea than with coffee, so I came here looking for a solution.I really like the idea of this stainless replacement, and I will say that it seems like a very high quality product that will last a long time. I'm impressed by the overall build quality and feel. It does also function rather well as a tea filter for loose-leaf tea.Unfortunately, my issue with this product is that the size doesn't quite match that of a paper #4 filter. This stainless filter both tapers to too narrow a point and is too short. For pourover coffee purposes that wouldn't be an issue at all, since the coffee goes through the grounds and then directly out of the cone. But for an immersion use case -- as with tea, or full-immersion coffee -- this isn't ideal. The stainless filter sits well above the bottom of the cone, and with significant margin on the edges, meaning that quite a bit of water is not in touch with the tea leaves during the brewing process. This of course means a weak and watered-down cup.Anyway, that's that. I think this is a good product and probably great for typical drip or pourover purposes, but it's not the one-for-one #4 replacement that I expected and so I'm going to have to look elsewhere.

This is the only permanent filter that has held up for me. It is still beautiful, too. It doesn't even look like a filter until you hold it up to the light. No plastic parts! 👍

Gastabamos un dineral en comprar los filtros de papel pero con este solo es de lavar y listo, queda ligeramente pequeño pero con que se centre bien no hay ningún problema, no presenta oxido ni daño alguno y ya más de un año de uso diario a cada rato, el mejor filtro hasta ahora que hemos conocido y hasta esta más rico el café porque pasa más el sabor, a diferencia del papel que no se exprime como debe aprovecharse

Se ve súper cerrada la malla, pero aún así pasa polvito de café. Lo peor es el tamaño que no le quedó exactamente a mi cafetera, a pesar de estar en la lista de modelos compatibles. Si bien si entra y es utilizable, la cafetera se debe quedar semi-abierta (perdiendo mucho de su vapor) y hace que se vea fea.

This is a great coffee filter. It works well and it’s easy to clean. No more bleached paper filters. Coffee taste so much better using this filter.

Purchased as a replacement for Ninja Coffee Bar filter no longer available in UK. Like that it’s robust, hopefully will outlast original! Not quite the perfect fit but works as hoped for!
