Nuvo TP232 Pendant Track Adapter - 4 Pack

Lower price than the name brand, works fine. Connect wires with the tiny wire nuts, stuff them in and screw it closed. No more or less difficult than the name brand. They work great for me. I just wound up the excess wire till I decide how I want them to hang. What can I say, I like track lighting.

Well made, fits fine. Those having trouble may be trying to turn it the wrong way. H track is 3 wire. The ground track is only on one side and the ground tab has to turn to that side.

This did the trick for my track lighting pendants. I cut the wires to length, which requires some careful work or they'll be too short. The wire nuts and wires fit inside the housing well enough. There is a set screw to hold the main wire from your fixture in place. The set screw is plastic and has a proprietary slot for tightening. I had to use one side of a pair of needle nose pliers to tighten it because no other tool would fit - no screwdriver, no Allen wrench, etc. Kind of a wonky solution but it worked. I had to be very careful not to wallow out the slot with the pliers. The on/off switch is a good thing to have but since it's track lighting I probably won't turn them off - it's too high to reach unless I'm on a ladder. I'd probably buy again.

I made a few pendant lights for my existing track lighting. I had read that these didn't fit quite right, so I wasn't surprised that they wouldn't twist right in. I used a digital caliper to measure the various dimensions of old fittings and new then filed/bent them slightly to get them to fit. I made six lights total, so it became pretty easy after doing a couple.

I ordered these adapters to convert 2 pendant lights. All the pieces you need are included. These adapters just come in a bag with no directions, but it’s pretty simple to figure it out. Black to black, white to white and green to green. The only piece I couldn’t figure out was the little clear plastic oval. It looks like some kind of wire harness, but I didn’t need it. There is plenty of room inside to store the wires. There is an on/off right on the adapter. There is also a spring latch that locks the adapter into the track. I would definitely order these again. They are a great value for the price. You can take a cheap direct wire light and convert it for track lighting for half the price of buying a traditional track light.

I guess it is assumed that one knows the basics of being an electrician. No instructions. Anyway, they were just what I needed.

These adapters come without instructions, but it is easy to figure out if you have worked with electrical wires or lights before. They assembled well enough but I was disappointed when I went to hang my light on my h-track. The spacing of the contacts on the top of the adapter were a “hair” off. (Like half a mm). This meant that the twisting of the adapter to get into position was a battle. I had to try to bend the tiny tabs upward a smidge and apply a serious amount of effort to twist the adapter far enough to finally click into position. I was seriously afraid of breaking the adapter or damaging my track. Thankfully I did manage to strong arm them into place and they do work fine. But I would not recommend them.

Would've been great if instructions were included, but was able to find enough info via Google. Otherwise, the adapters worked great for adapting some pendants to fit my H-track lighting in the kitchen. Nothing fancy but looks to be as advertised, and working as intended. One aspect I couldn't find an answer for was what to do when the pendant I modified didn't have a green ground wire (designed to be grounded using the mounting bracket) to connect to the ground in the adapter. Ended up just capping the ground and it's working fine.
