Holy Cow!!!
I did not have high hopes for a single 10" sub at this price point. I wired it up with the recommended Dual XPE2700 (400W) amp in bridged Mono configuration. It rattles my 1995 Isuzu Trooper well. I did not get it to have it so loud you can hear me coming down the road, but you could if I turned the amp all the way up. I have the amp only at half power, and It makes plenty enough noise and stays crisp. I did not want any Sub Fuzz since it is sitting in the back of the truck where you would hear it. Best of all it fits nicely behind the 3rd row of seating (which is a pretty small space in this truck). I highly recommend this - especially at this price point. I am considering getting another set up for another vehicle. Would work great in a boat too since it is so cheap you wouldn't have to worry too much about getting it wet. Really impressed for the money.

Nice small woofer for the price.
Hits ok but I do run 500 watts into it. For the price not to bad. You will need to get it some power to hit hard.

Another brilliant product from Dual.
Dual has been around for a long time. Obviously it's gone through some changes, some better, some worse. I was skeptical when I bought the SBP8A even with all the 5 star reviews. That product was an incredible value, loved it! Got rid of it a while back because I wanted something that fit under my rear seat of my Crew Cab, so I bought the best enclosed 8" setup you can buy IMO the Alpine SBR-S83V. I really liked that setup and it hit harder than the SBP8A, granted it cost more as well. So I decided to roll the dice again on this Dual Subwoofer. It did not disappoint. It hits harder, lower and louder than the SBR-S83V. It was exactly what I was looking for. A very respectable sound level in the car and very little outside. Worth every penny and then some. Thanks Dual!

Fits well in my 1998 Dakota Single Cab
This is literally the reason I didn't want to buy a single cab truck. Well, that and I'm 6'4". I was searching for Subwoofers that would fit where my center console is, then I came across this. I looked at the dimensions online and got into the cab of my truck with a tape measure. I figured that I could "modify" the center console/push it forward a few inches, keep my center console and STILL get some bass going! This isn't the first Dual Subwoofer I've owned. I still have my Dual BP1204 12-Inch 1100-Watt Illumination Bandpass Subwoofer but I wanted a Polk Unit that I saw more so the Dual has been in storage for 2 years. That said, the BP 1204 HITS HARD ! ! !The Dual SBX100 is a good, little subwoofer that you can probably get to fit in your single cab truck. Thinking back, I should have just put the subwoofer entirely behind the passenger seat and mounted the amplifier behind the center console and let my occasional passenger "suffer". Even so, I had a 5'10" person sit in the passenger seat after I got everything installed she said she was comfortable and her knees didn't touch the dashboard.

More Sound Than The Car Next To You Can Handle!
First of all, I'm five foot two and ABSOLUTELY love my big 1992 Ford Bronco with a torquey 351 Cleveland V8, that I of course drive very conservatively ;) My twenty year old son decided that I needed a better sound system, and being as he is a whiz when it comes to wiring and designing anything electronic, I gave him the "go ahead" to install something with quality acoustics. My God, the first time I pushed Elton John's Yellow Brick Road into the C.D. player and heard this orchestra playing in my "baby" I was hooked. I had no idea that a subwoofer could be anything but annoying when you're in the car next to another car booming until you get one of your own........what a cool invention. Now I'm the annoying person with no regrets. If you purchase this model I promise you it'll rock your world!

Awesome!
So this is designed for a car but I have a Sony 5.1 surround sound system I love and blew the original subwoofer on. I searched high and low and could find no official replacements. I stumbled across this with the right ohm rating and decided to try it. Plugged it in and it was out of balance on the high side with the rest of the system. After running the automatic balancing function on the sound system it has been perfect!

Bad woofer
Coil rub from the start, but box was good quality. Bought a decent woofer for it and works great now.
