Was concerned because other reviewers stated it would run all the Roku sticks in house because it's hooked up on Wi-Fi. This was a complete non-issue. I have an older Roku stick, about 5 years old. Remote stopped working on one of the buttons. My teenage daughter connected this new remote within seconds going through the settings on the Roku programming. It locks into the specific Roku stick and works perfectly! Great replacement. Easy to set up. No trouble.

When my ROKU stick stopped responding to its remote I thought I would have to buy a new ROKU streaming interface for my TV. I found this replacement remote at a reasonable cost and took a chance thinking I could return it if it didn't fix the problem. Set up was simple and the ROKU Stick responds flawlessly to the new remote.

I have and older model Roku-3 Box that I lost the original remoter control. I order this remote because the description said it would work. It works great for controlling my Roku-3 Box, but also controls the volume and switching the HDMI inputs on my new Toshiba Fire-TV. All I do is press the Home Key, and the Roku Box powers up and the TV input is switched to the correct HDMI-2 input and the TV shows the Roku Home screen....ready to go !

The remote works but only after adding a folded piece of paper inside the battery door. If not, the batteries slightly pop out of position and don’t make full contact meaning that the remote won’t work. After taping in a folded piece of paper in the area behind the batteries on the access plate, the batteries are kept in place with no problems. Even though I had to make this alteration, I still feel it’s well worth the cost

It is hard to find a replacement remote for our Roku stick. I was excited to see this one available. Unfortunately, it does not maintain its connection to the Roku player, and frequently drops its connection during a show. Sometimes, it is easy to re-pair with the player, and sometimes we cannot get it to connect at all. Next time, I will go with the Roku branded remote, instead of the Amazon brand.

I was unable to get this to work following the included instructions. But using my existing remote to navigate Roku "add a new remote" option, I was able to add it. If I hadn't had an existing remote I don't think I could have gotten this one to work.

Had to unplug my roku stick first and replug it back in to get it to pair but it works fine thanks
